Except the small matter of him not being. RvP>Aguero>Suarez. Few if any will disagree. RvP is the one who has been there and done it, the other two are merely pretenders to his crown. RvP takes no responsibility for Aguero being out of form ( this isnt taken into account for RvP is it? ) or Suarez being a scumbag. He gets on with his job, being the premier leagues best striker bar none.
You sure about that? I think you are mistakenly thinking those seasons where he didnt play too often as examples of him doing badly because he scored 7, 11 or 18 goals. Thing is he played very few games in those seasons so while the tallies were low he was infact scoring a lot of goals. Since Henry leaving he has consistently scored goals when hes played. 7 in 13, 11 in 24, 9 in 14, 18 in 19, 30 in 37, 26 in 35 and 7 in 9. His assist record also pisses all over the other two.
The last 4 show exactly why hes the best striker in the league. Seriously good numbers. When the other tow can show anything close to that level of consistency we can start to put them in RvP's bracket.
As a neutral I think all 3 are fantastic players. However taking age, attitude, injuries and baggage into account, I'd take Aguero given the choice.
The ones from 4 years ago and before show he can usually only play half a season. So last year and the year before he was a top striker. This year he is doing reasonably well so far but there are many better.
I count 7. Oh and his last 4 seasons put him at 81 in 111 games. The other two have a significant way to go. It should be pointed out that the 'last 4' is two half seasons ( this and the first ) plus 2 full seasons.
3 years ago he played half a season after coming back from injury. He scored 18. More than most can manage in a whole season. he followed that up with 30 in his first full season.... then 26 in hi next full season, despite moving clubs ( some would suggest it takes time to settle in, it probably does, for lesser players ). As I said... 81 in 111 PL games. We'll end it there.
RVP: slightly better than Rickie Lambert please log in to view this image http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/players/ea-sports-player-performance-index.html
4% better so far this season, having played more than 50% more games. His getting away with assault is the only reason he even has that edge, and it isn't significant enough to last. RVP seriously needs to increase his contributions to be anywhere near Suarez though. This also tracks better overall contribution. As a striker, more goals = better striker. End of.
Ouch The hype cloud over RvP dispersed. Always thought myself he offered **** all if not actually scoring a goal. The fact Suarez has only played 7 games to Rooney's 11 speaks volumes But wait Astro, does this not take into account the important factors of "impact" and "goals to points earned"?
You do know hes not played for a while dont you? Its pretty hard to score when you dont play. Or if you are welbeck
