The Liverpool game was much better. David Moyes has never had an entertaining game as manager, fact. Best Merseyside derby in history is the first one he isn't managing Everton, what a surprise.

David Moyes, boring football supporters to death with physical hoof ball since 1998 <ok>

  2. Sorry, but i don't understand this view. The only one that guarantees a rival dropping points is Arsenal vs Everton. Unless you're counting Southampton as a rival

  3. the people that have not watched any of the action or seen the scores will be looking for the Man Utd vs Everton game as that is the big match of the evening.

I'm starting to feel a bit bad for Moyes. Afterall its pretty much the Everton team he built that are doing well and to be fair have done for a few seasons now.

People have been saying for years that Utd needed new blood and I think without SAF at the helm and the confidence he instilled in the team that has become very evident. I think Moyes could build a good new team at utd but the problem is he hasn't got the pull of many of the best managers whom have been round the top clubs for many years and he hasn't got the time to generate that pull. Felani was a big mistake and has actually made Everton better in his absence but at that point it was his only option. He also isn't the best at man management which was probably SAF's best quality and how his teams were so consistent. That being said his days at man utd are numbered the question is will he be given the Jan window to improve the team or will they get someone else in to rebuild the team.

Southampton & Newcastle are as close to us as the rest.

Also fancy Spurs to drop points away to Sunderland.

  6. I don't see Saints or the Magpies as rivals, they will both drop away <ok>

Saying that, I don't see Chelsea or Man City as rivals either as we won't finish above them.

They'll definitely give him time, he's been championed by Fergie.

So who do you see as rivals? Everton, Arsenal, Spurs & United?

  11. For getting top four, yes.

PS...I don't see Man Utd in there too as I think they'll get third but you coul equally argue that for Arsenal too.

How did Rooney miss from a yard out <doh> Managed to let it go through his legs.
Then Wellbeck headed against the bar from a yard out <laugh>

  14. Considering who scored, would Everton have won had Baines been fit?

    Well played Henderson <applause>

Just saw MOTD and the Mancs. Vidic's dive was disgusting. Suarez would be slated all week for that and he's not even our captain.
