I thought he played alright but kept sloppily giving away possession. Great effort at goal that Ruddy tipped over.
I was, and I still do. Didn't think we played well until the last 30 when the game was already over. Gave away possession too easily, first half was poor except for a brilliant hattrick from Luis and a few good touches from Coutinho. Defense looked shaky. Gave away another soft goal (Vice Captain Agger still cant' defend crosses). The score line and the Suarez show flattered us in my opinion.
Can't agree with the last sentence. Gerrard could have had another 4, Allen had a decent shot, plus some other chances not taken.
I don't think we played like a 5-1 winning team, until the last 30 when Norwich had pretty much given up. If Suarez wasn't on the pitch, we offered very little beyond Coutinho but he's a creator, not a scorer. Suarez's performance made the scoreline impressive but I don't think the performance of the whole team matched that scoreline, given the game as a whole.
He showed tonight how utterly ridiculous the media's valuation of £50 million was during the summer. I've said it before, if he was at Madrid or Barca, he would be at the very least matching the goals per game ratio of Messi/Ronaldo.
