I would love it to be a lot hotter here ,I like the heat (the aches and pains seem to disappear)! Funnily enough there are some jobs going at Lyon airport! and I have been giving the idea a lot of consideration ,likewise at Bordeaux!
Last time I was in Lyon there was one hell of a thunderstorm, and when in Bordeaux it hit 44C. Mme suggested that we find some shade in Bordeaux, so we found a bar and cold drinks.
Ah - just like home! A good few years ago, I used to work for the Qld Forestry Dept. & spent a lot of time camping out in the bush. One particular time, whilst working up a rather isolated tableland, the temperature was so hot at midnight that it was simply impossible to sleep. We took a reading of 120F - around 49C if my maths are correct. It was even hotter the next day, but our thermometer exploded! Too hot to work for very long so we spent most of the day soaking in a rock pool.
With one dodgy leg hurting her in the last week or two of training , I was a bit concerned Frenchie! Not that she wouldnt finish ,but would cause more damage to her leg!
The leg gave my jip but I ignored it . I can rest it now lol. I feel fantastic! (yep another tweet) Hope she hasnt damaged it further! But between the 3 of them to earn over £5k for charity is awesome work!
