I think one of the problems is...............Most, if not all, the other teams in the lower half of the table do not capitulate every time against the big teams - Norwich do, certainly far more than the others do.

Who could we bring on who would make a difference? We're not playing terribly, really.

We are offering NOTHING up front, we are 3 nil down and getting ran ragged.

Come on Chris, roll the dice. What's the worst that can happen? Make 3 attacking subs or anything! What have we got to lose?!

Good job Hughton was able to "bolster" the defence. A goal difference of -15 after 14 matches is testament to his skill in that department ,<yikes>

Err arsenal man utd and man city (albeit last game of season with nothing to play for) last season. Tottenham managed the same and spent 100 million plus. Also altho lost chelsea and arsenal games this year were unlucky and played well. Short memories

I don't understand him. If you don't make a substitute 3-0 down at half time, I don't know why he even bothers naming a bench. Substitutions are quite a vital part of the game. We're not going to win today but surely it's important to go out there and try and win the second half for confidence etc.

Getting a bit tired of hearing this Suarez world class striker nonsense. I completely agree he is, but part of being in this league is dealing with fantastic players and not being over awed. I think we pay these players too much respect.

So you wouldn't make a change at 3-0 down. It's quite obviously not working up top is it?

Hooper and Murphy. Pace to hit on the counter.

Hooper isn't pacey. Who would you take off? Murphy has never played a full premier league game, why would he play well against Liverpool?

I know this team line-up is hopeless up the field (although it should be able to keep the goals conceded down, which it hasn't) but with the injuries and the poor player form we have I don't think there is any team we could play that would get a result at Anfield.

Murphy on, is worth a go.

Hooper now please for Elmander or keep both on and go full tilt.

So the young Murphy comes on when we're getting mullered, that'll do wonders for his confidence Chrissy boy, well done again, marvellous <ok>

Hooper is more pacey than Elmander and Becchio.

He played against Man City. He can play with absolutely no fear, he isn't going to get any stick is he?

So what would you do Russ Martin? Just sit there and take a mullering.

If you don't make a change when you're 3-0 down you might as well not name a bench.

Doesnt matter what he does you would criticise him. Nothing wrong with a youngster coming on when a team is losing. They will lose sometime in their career, often it is how they deal with the losses. Character building if you like.

Even if we concede more at least we have made some changes to try and make a difference.
