Frogman, I agree with you about Ruiz...his lightweight frame and ability to go down could win us a sneaky penalty. I'm predicting a stale 0-0 draw (or we sneak it with a pen in the last 10mins).
To be honest bobby, I could not care how Ruiz gets us a goal at the moment, but to give him a bit of credit he will find space if the ball is played into him.
What's this mythical "shots on target" thing you speak of Cravingawin? You must be referring to a historical match when they were allowed at the Cottage.
Unlucky, Fulham. Deserved to get at least a point out of that and probably all three. Really poor performance from us (Spurs) and you look very much improved since last week.
I can't express how disappointed I am to lose (I had to settle for BBC live text in the pub - who would believe the amounts of money thrown around for the rights to televise games, and only Palace - Wet Sham and Swans - Newcastle are televised out of all 10 games), but it sounds like we played much, much better. We didn't expect anything from this game anyway, onwards and upwards.
I saw the highlights and we had more than 3 shots on target from wat i saw on them. We looked like a football team again. Berba put some effort in and had some lovely touches, our defence defended and our attackers attacked. Seven changes and players playing where they were meant to. Not a knock at him for once but Ruiz should have scored. It was only a brilliant save from Lloris that denied him. Very unlucky to lose. IF we play like that from now on, we'll be fine - we won't win the league but we will be safe in mid-table.
Here is a link to the video highlights which confirm that Lloris did indeed save the day for them. http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2013/december/05/tottenham-highlights
