Yeah we have to earn the win, but you will often find, not always, that the game of statistics always shows up, for example once you beat a team 3 times in a season, that team rarely goes on to win for the 4th time. Take the 2004 season, we played u 5 times, we beat u 3 times before our European games with each other, drew, and then lost to you at Highbury, you see, you were owed a win eventually. Same with us VS United in 2005, played them 5 times, lost to them 3 times before the FA Cup final, and we won on penalties, they couldn't win that 4th game, we were owed a win over them. :-D. You have now beaten us 3 in a row, 2wice at the Emirates back-back, already beaten us once at the Emirates this season in the cup....And Wenger's never beaten Mo, so we sure as helllllllll are owed a win vs you, but, doesn't mean we will win, could easily end up losing, only to be owed a win against you when we face at Stamford Bridge, :-D.
Most on here don't have a 'phobia' in big games, we're just being realistic, ummmm that these will be big and tough games with lot's on the line, is that not true? If we were the opposite, you'd be calling us arrogant bla bla bla....We're playing you and City back-back, that's something to talk about as being tough, nobody looks at that on paper and see oh that's a walk in a park.
You are playing the best football in the country, you need to seize the moment and beat Chelsea.. no excuses. You may well lose players and form later in the season so you need to seize the moment, now.
Don't worry, we are going to beat you. And then you're gonna come here saying it doesn't mean much because "it's only December".
Our record against Mourinho is pathetic, won't be surprised if we put in another performance like old Trafford
There's plenty of scope for improvement in the results against City, Utd and Chelsea this season It was 2 points from 6 games last season!
Maureen, record, bla bla bla... if you can't beat one of his teams now, I don't think you ever will. Arsenal are the *only* stand out team right now, you are the ones to beat.
Anybody watching the Palace V Hammers game ? It's pretty dire stuff so far. Interesting night tomorrow with a full round of fixtures. I reckon Everton might get something at OT especially with the way Lukaku is playing. City on the road have been poor and they have a tricky away tie at West Brom and the Spuds could drop more points at Fulham, who whilst they have been **** might just want to prove something now they've dispensed with Jol.
You're funny with the insurance game you play, saying all the right things just incase you lose, ;-). And who knows, we could enter the game with you on bad form, we face Everton, Napoli, and City before you, so lot's of potential upsets for us, a draw VS Everton, a loss VS City. You could be the ones entering the derby game on the better form.
Let's hope so. Not a defining game anyway. The defining games are in march April May when the pressure is really on. I hope some of them involve us v yourself and the mancs
We play Manu in February. We also play Spurs, you, and City all back-back in March. So from April-May we have none of the big top 4 sides to play, or any title contenders.
