Well done lads and well done Mick for making the changes. Three unlikely goal scorers make my prediction come true.
    Super happy with that result.

Always like that after a home game Warky, you're usually there I guess - give people time to get home <ok>

Just listening to some ****er slag off Nouble and the team! Apparently Hyam isn't effective, Nouble and Skuse were awful and we only won because Blackburn were rubbish.....

Sorry mate, at work. Half of my work mates just had to listen to the match whilst we were working. I'm so glad we won so I wouldn't have to listen to them bitch.

Yeah Fair enough mate <ok> I just can't make any midweek games as I can never get up there in time after work! <grr> Great result tonight and although I am not getting carried away it feels at long last that we are all heading in the right direction. Mick is certainly working his magic here the same as he did at Wolves!

Hunt and Carlos playing wide and Hyam given the central role with license to roam certainly did the trick tonight! Nouble's work rate was awesome! He never gave their back four a moments peace and he got his just rewards at the end. Yes we have another epic game on Saturday but finally the jigsaw seems to be falling into place and Mick must take the plaudits for getting this fairly average group of players to over perform so often! Keep this up and Marcus must surely allow Mick to spend some money in January.

14,500 was the attendance today. It looked empty, but the noise was impressive.

The difference in Town was amazing. They were marking tightly and only got caught out by, what looked to me at least, like an offside hasbeen.

Rhodes was an embarrassment. He celebrated his goal right in front of the home support and was booed for the rest of the game. He picked up a knock and was virtually hobbling until the final whistle. Any other team would have taken him off, but he was all they had in their arsenal, so they kept him on. How he didn't get a card for simulation in extra time is a mystery. Actually it's not a mystery - the ref was ****ing awful.

Do I miss Rhodes? Maybe the Rhodes who played at Town, but not this overpaid, cheating, goal-hanging, disrespectful premier league wannabe. We'll be getting him on loan in January then...

My MOTM was Hunt. He was fast and accurate and showed some real skill.

A thoroughly enjoyable game. Unless you're on your way back to Lancashire of course

Just got in from the game, the dizzy heights of 8th place, get in.!

Ok now some perspective.....Just how poor was Nouble in the 1st half, he was ****ing shocking almost everything he tried he messed up, I was absolutely amazed to see him come out 2nd half. Fair play to him though by sheer hard work and determination he got himself into the game, he chased & harassed everything & eventually got his reward....I might add that most people around me were laughing so much when his goal went in they had tears in there eyes, it was a combination of the monumental **** up by the keeper & the irony that the worst player, by a distance on the pitch in the 1st half got the final goal of the game......Nouble left the pitch at the final whistle a hero...!

Anyway another ground out win, great performances from the back 4, Smith & Berra are a great combination.
Was mightily impressed by Hunt, was between him & Hyam for me for MOM.
Skuse had a bit of an off night, a few mistakes in distribution but got back a couple of time to make some covering tackles.
Carlos was a bit rusty but took his goal well when he could have panicked & scuffed it.

Getting harder to beat by the week, week done MM & TC, we salute you.!

Morning all...it was good to get your match summaries all who posted, thanks. Another tough game to have won and under Mick we are grinding out resultd now that we would have been smashed a year ago! Amazing game football isnt it? Two of the most highly regarded former Town players trot on the park, Rhodes & DJ ( Both who I miss by the by)...flatter to deceive 1st half( I hear) and end up out of the game and fizzle out. To cap it all, Nouble, who none of us rate for most of season...plays tripe 1st half, and confounds us all, puts in major shift 2nd half and...pops one in as if to say "Told you so!"

What I see, is still a better than average team, but few top draw players, being shaped, pulled, goaded and strongly managed to play as a team and proud to wear the Blue!
And Mick surprising us all by his good tactical decisions last 2 weeks. It must be his beard - keep it MM!

We do need dosh tho for at least another forward and midfielder, agree?

Yep, anything goes now, 2pts off Play-offs, I think we will get in top 6 by Xmas.
