Ace was actually a cracking guy when I first met him on SPN. He was intelligent,articulate and made a great contribution to the forum. He was also a mad Bluenose which did him absolutely no harm whatsoever in my book. How could it ever go so horribly wrong? Simply, he refused to listen. He was the Comical Ali of the internet. Old heads like Anport offered him good advice but he always knew best even when the walls of SPN were crumbling all around him he still insisted the infidels were being slaughtered when the reality was his number was well and truly up. When he said to Mick "Your management team are on the edge of walking and I mean the ****ING EDGE" ( one of the best lines of all time ) I knew then he was the full Walter Mitty. None of us could ever have known he would turn out to be such a complete tit. Would I welcome him back?
