White Swan (Wetherspoons) at Highbury & Islington may be your best bet, certainly wouldn't suggest any away fans risking any of the pubs in Holloway Rd
Cheers mate. Is there a land mark I aim for from the coach park? Are there any others? Prefer back street boozers, but realise beggars cant be choosers...he says, being picky.
That's exactly what Liverpool did with the wing backs. I'm not attempting to underestimate Hull, I just don't think that's an effective strategy against us. Time will tell I guess! Will be interesting to see how much Hull have in the tank after the Liverpool game. You'll either be dead on your legs or massively buoyed! I think if we can score early it might knock a bit of wind from your sails.
Arsenal: Szczesny, Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal, Flamini, Ramsey, Rosicky, Cazorla, Ozil, Bendtner. Subs: Fabianski, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Arteta, Wilshere, Walcott, Giroud. Hull: McGregor, Figueroa, Elmohamady, Chester, Bruce, Meyler, Huddlestone, Livermore, Brady, Graham, Sagbo. Subs: Harper, Faye, Rosenior, Boyd, Koren, Gedo, Fryatt. Holy hell
2 things i don't get. 1. Why play Ramsey and Ozil when we have a massive game against Everton on Sunday? 2. Why Bendtner? Why why why why why why why why why (Bangs head against wall numerous times)
Haha!! That was just my reaction Hans. Blah blah expected expected...Bendtner!? I'm a bit surprised only the fullbacks have been changed. A rest for Giroud & no start for Theo is surprising too. I'd expect Theo & Wilshere to come on at some point, hopefully Vermaelen too.
ramsey and ozil must not be that bad fitness wise. everyone at the club is always going on about how fit ramsey is, so maybe he recovers a lot faster than normal as well. and i can't imagine ozil needs resting much with his style of play. he walks or jogs for the majority of most games. a few surprises for me. would have expected vermaelen to start, but maybe with jenks and monreal already being brought in wenger wants to keep the centre of defence the same. can't really blame him to be honest. bendtner starting is another big surprise, although maybe he's better in training than he has been the few times he's made it onto the pitch. at least be glad he's not playing against a stronger team. also walcott missing out seems a bit odd, but maybe he's still not back to full fitness yet. he'll definitely get a run out off the bench though. but aside from all that, our team looks strong (besides bendtner) and our bench also looks strong. anyone on the bench could get into the team and the level of performance would remain very similar. lots of squad depth there
Let's hope this is not the banana skin waiting to happen.... although we do play well in mid week evening games and I truly believe the goals will go flying in from the various AM's!!! 5-0 COYG!!
I'll say it now, i've lost all enthusiasm i had for this game. I thought we'd see Theo through the middle terrorising their CB's, now we have a useless fat lump of **** who terrorises parked cars, but not defenders.
I am calling it - Bendtner brace 1 in the first 10 mins to quieten the fans who will be on his back (wrongly or rightly is another issue).
Is there actually any coverage of this game? My streams are just saying live streaming will begin shortly, but we're only 5 minutes away from kickoff
