You really on a sticky wicket if you keep reducing the price of cat a match day tickets.i feel we may loose some season card holders if this policy is in place.????

Seems to be a case of if you're a season card holder, you're ****ed. If you're not a season card holder and don't know one you're ****ed. But if you've got a mate who's a season card holder you can milk them for their offers all season leaching cheap tickets left right and center. Not a very level playing field is it? Infact it's chaos and extremely unfair.

Living in darlington I only know the one Season ticket card holder personally. To take advantage of offers like this chelsea one I've got to brown nose and compete with like 6 other people to get a cheap ticket, she feels bad for having to pick and choose so I've stopped asking her, I've got more self respect and respect for her. If I'd lived in sunderland my whole life I'd have loads cheep tickets flying about to choose from. I feel discriminated for living 50 miles away.

Is it worth starting a thread on here where our season ticket holders can sort something out for people in your position mate?

Unfortunately he is correct, season card holders can buy two extra tickets for £10.00 each ticket.

That would be wonderful but don't season card holders have to add names to their friends and family list with limited space? A buddy system would work, than those of us who live away have the same buddy to access tickets. I would still feel guilty though because the season card holder still get a raw deal and they're the most loyal. :(

Not sure how the system works. Need someone in the know but I bet allocations aren't being used.

I'm sure if the people taking the £10 tickets paid say £15-20 it'd take the edge off. Good deal all round...

A few more seats filled, people who otherwise wouldn't get, get a fairly cheap ticket and the season ticket holder gets a bit of spending money!

it's a piss take really, the season card holder should receive a % discount on next seasons card every time they sell a ticket offer to a friend and over the season they can build up the discount to use next season. Say they do this chelsea offer 4 times a season, then the cardholder should get a 2.5% discount for every extra ticket they sell. If they take advantage of every ticket offer selling the extra two tickets every time they've got themselves a 20% discount for next seasons card.

That would work for me like. It doesn't satisfy me from the football clubs treatment of season card holders though.

Good idea it good for some of the fans who for what ever reason, don't have a card to get the opertunity to attend these games.it appears that is what the club is after.i live in an area where there is many offers from season card holders but like everyone else there is many people after them.

I'll be there tomorrow night..I haven't heard of any deals for tomorrow night s game, although there was a 10 pound ticket offer for season card holders for the cup game which ran out last week. I didn't know that the offer had a deadline and got mine the day after the offer finished..<grr>

Bri, I think the issue is about responsibility, the deals are meant to be for family and friends with the Season Card holder being responsible for their behaviour at the game. These deals happen 4-5 times a year and if I spot them, I get two tickets for my son and his Uni mate (both at Sunderland), but they know to be on their best behaviour because if anything happens I will be held responsible by the club.

    Edit:
Here's the link for the deal.

    Cheers fella.

The very first line is where my gripe lies.

Season card holders can take advantage of a special ticket offer when Chelsea visit the Stadium of Light.

There's no advantage to the season card holder whatsoever. It's friends and family who take advantage, not season card holder. All they get is as you say, extra responsibility for keeping other people in check. The offer is more of a hinderance to the actual card holder. I can fully understand why Card holders are pissed off. Being used if you ask me. Great for you to get family in cheaper but where is your reward as an individual fan?

I agree with you that SC holders are getting hacked off, but we still get all games for £21-£25 per game. I think my biggest moan is stubhub. I've just been looking to get tickets for the Chelsea game some of our family who are up from down south and I can get two tickets together in the North Stand for just over £17.00 each. I sometimes think it would be better to use that avenue rather than a SC.

Not really ventured into stubhub due to their appalling reputation. Too many people end up stood outside venues without tickets.

I have used them once for visiting family, two tickets together, £23 each, and picked them up from the ticket collection office at the front of Black Cat House, no problems at all.

I may take the risk at some point. If something bad happens it happens to me.
