I think he is referring to the Avatars, I guess there should be the badges etc under the main text where there are just dots.

Not quite sure why you think that. Davis has been a revelation this season whenever he has come on the pitch. Not to say Cork does not warrant a place but we have plenty of options in midfield (with Reed as well).

Cork is better suited to the defensive role than Davis ... I see Davis as a player who plays further forward.

I think that is why Poch is using Davis next to Victor. At home to Villa who aren't scoring much anyway, action in their half of the pitch is what he wants. The other option I would like is James Ward Prowse further back. Not saying I like Cork less than anyone else. Despite all the Ramirez transfer chat, if he was fit he could have been playing tomorrow.

Not for me. He's not really suited to the defensive midfield role.

Cool, then let's let him play further forward and let Wanyama take care of the defensive stuff. We don't need to play two defensive midfielders against Villa.

I don't think I'd go that far... He was excellent when he came on at Anfield and has since been in and out of the squad playing consistently well, but I wouldn't say he's been that great - I mean he's barely had any starts!

Plays it very well for the England U21s. He's not the strongest but next to Wanyama he won't have to be.

Morgan def out. Big game for Victor and Cork. Would like Danni and Lambert playing together so I would drop JRod and just give the nod to JWP to provide ammo for the two guys up front

I reckon JRod is almost a shoo in for Mauricio. It's Lambert and Osvaldo who are interchangeable....I would tend to pick Rickie.

Same here. JRod has almost become indispensable because of the sheer amount of work he gets through. He may not have the technique or the instinct to score that either Lambert or Osvaldo have, but you can't deny that his persistence will count for something against most teams.

Of the other two options, I think Lambert is more worried by Rickie than Dani. Whatever happens, one will be on the bench and one will start, so they'll both play.

It looks like Davis instead of Cork.

Well if Wanyama, Schneiderlin, Davis and JWP are ahead of Cork the for two defensive mid positions I would be very surprised if he's not out of here in January.
With Morgan injured you would of thought it would be an ideal opportunity for Cork to come in and make an impact. Would seem MP is not impressed with him in the fact he has hardly featured even from the bench.

Which is slightly weird because according to match statistics, Cork outperformed Schneiderlin very slightly after Poch came in last season. Of course, Wanyama does Cork's job. Morgan does a different job these days, so partnering Jack with Victor possibly isn't an automatic partnership. Personally, I think they'd do well enough.

How the hell is Gaston injured?? He spends most of his time sat on his bum, on a plane between here and Uruguay, sitting on theirs and our subs bench.

Probably just answered my own question.

    Gazza
    Shaw. Fonte. Loren. Clyne.
    Cork. Wanyama
    Lallana. Lambert. JRod.
    Osvaldo.

Seriously. How can Osvaldo come good without playing some weaker opposition?
