Ok, the breaking news is this;

I'm supposed to go to the Christmas concert on Tuesday as the Wednesday showing is for the parents of the older kids. If they are bureaucratical toss pots and enforce this rule it means I will not be going to said Christmas concert which will allow me to have a cheeky pint or two Wednesday evening.

Big if but I'll keep you posted.

 

Simple suggestion: Go to the Tuesday event, then you're clear for the Wednesday

I'm going to the opening of the bridge I spent all year building so our ale and football is safe.
