    Ok, the breaking news is this;

    I'm supposed to go to the Christmas concert on Tuesday as the Wednesday showing is for the parents of the older kids. If they are bureaucratical toss pots and enforce this rule it means I will not be going to said Christmas concert which will allow me to have a cheeky pint or two Wednesday evening.

    Big if but I'll keep you posted.

    Simple suggestion: Go to the Tuesday event, then you're clear for the Wednesday <ok>

    That would mean we miss ale and football on Tuesday night.

    Not doing that anyway.

    I'm going to the opening of the bridge I spent all year building so our ale and football is safe.

    Excellent.

    Bring warm clothes as we may end up at the bar with the outside tv for the game..

    That's quite a feat. Building a bridge all on your own <doh>

    Surely that means Wednesday will be spent at an inquiry into why your bridge collapsed killing everyone on it?

    Baked cod with mash and stir fried veg tonight. Nice and healthy to help the wife with yet another diet...

    I've had Cajun spiced pulled pork baguette with slaw and sweet chilli sauce. Think I got a semi while eating it.
