Why do you insist on hijacking threads and start making threats to people. This is meant to be a football forum, if it's fighting you're into then go join a fight forum and fill your boots.

Tough game tomorrow, would love a draw but we can win it. Really want a semi final so given a choice I'd rather us win in the cup. They'll be very different games and we won't see as much of the ball tomorrow.

I'd be alright with losing tomorrow if we win in the cup and beat Spurs this weekend. Not entirely sure how likely that is mind.

JOHN O’SHEA has handed Sunderland an injury boost for tomorrow night’s visit of Chelsea after coming through training unscathed.

The Sunderland skipper was a major doubt to feature against Jose Mourinho’s side after suffering a groin strain in the closing stages of Saturday’s goalless draw at Aston Villa.

But the centre-half has handed head coach Gus Poyet a pleasant surprise by returning to training and is expected to be passed fit for tomorrow’s Stadium of Light clash.

Poyet said: “It’s not a risk (playing O’Shea) because today he trained and was completely alright.

“It was a happy surprise this morning because we were paying close attention to him.

“At first, he didnt feel he’d pulled a muscle. It was just a strange feeling that something wasn’t right.

“But he’s recovered well and trained alright without any problems

“Let’s hope nothing goes wrong, but I’m delighted that John will be available.”

Mixed feelings. Played fantastic at the weekend but I still feel Roberge is the right choice long term. Can't drop O'Shea though after that performance.

We need to start this game like Southampton - score after 13 seconds
Play like we did at Villa - don't concede any goals
Then finish like our friends up the road - score twice in the last 20 minutes. :emoticon-0100-smile

This ^. Rather nice to have a ready replacement though. Quite a novelty in fact.

Feel Roberge more for next season really. Can`t see we can realistically get much more from O`Shea. Brown either for that matter.
