Please, he posted it on social media, hardly likely to get a mature and reasonable response. To be fair to the lad, he didn't actually post a vid saying he was gay, he posted a vid saying he was in a relationship with a man, then clarifying that he is bi favouring girls. I'm sure there are endless 'celebrities' out there who post a new vid or message every time they are in a new relationship, or not in a new relationship, or ending their relationship, or breathing, or scratching their arse etc. In fact I'm pretty sure Daley himself has tweeted and commented many times about his relationships, or lack of them, with girls, so why is it so different when he comments on his relationship with a man? If I was him I'd probably be getting tired enough of the endless 'do you have a girlfriend / are you gay' questions and rumours and thinly veiled abuse. Probably tired enough to lay my cards on the table. As for using social media, what other media could be possibly have used that wouldn't have resulted in the same response from the usual trolls?
I wonder if any of the posters on here are gay? Statistically there should be at least one or two. I wonder who will be the first to come out?
Hmmm. Not sure what statistics you're using to draw that conclusion. If you're going by average proportion within society as a whole, then half the posters should be female, and clearly that's not true (unless they're all on here pretending to be blokes in order to groom us for sex). Obviously there are many other factors affecting the demographic nature of the board, but I agree that logic would suggest that there are some. It's never really occurred to me to think about it, tbh. How's yer nuts, btw?
