I have always thought he was gay, didn't think he would announce it for a few years though due to the impact it would have on his merchandise .... fair play to him for having the guts to announce it but I still don't like him
Funny that sensible about Canary Wharf........I could have sworn I saw Mrs LaLa singing in the Citibank choir last night for Gareth Malone.....it's his little ginger beard she's taken to......it helps to make him look older than eighteen. Of course we have lots of Parakeets flying around here (only 10 miles away from C W) lots of little friends for Beau to play with. Returning to Tom Daley......not knowing who his boy friend is.....but has he found a father figure to replace his dad......just a thought. PS........downsizing to Canary Wharf....you must be joking sensible....you would have to be leaving Buckingham Palace or the White House to be downsizing to there.....It's not Port of London Authority any more, no Millwall type dockies living around there these days........last time I was up there looking around with Mrs Plym.....a bit of stale cheese in a sandwich would cost you £8 !!!

This whole saga just makes me laugh purely because I thought there was speculation about him being gay anyway and that he had been in denial. Cannot remember how or why i thought that, but could have sworn once comments regarding him being gay were described as cruel or being nasty (probably wrong). Then he comes out after all this time! I don't get it either way why such a big fuss over it all. He's the one with the issues by not being true about his sexuality in the first place or has he just turned gay suddenly overnight. Touch of sarcasm in my comment. I've got no interest in what the guy has to say but purely in my eyes people that just suddenly come out are liar's for not being truthful about them self. After all this is the 21st Century and i would have had more respect for an individual that came out 40 years ago than some one today getting the publicity and glare of media attention. Got no time for this sort of so called coming out. Like Joe said 'I suppose he has been out of the news for a while and needed some attention!!!' I suggest he swim's back under what ever stone he came from under and just gets on with his life with out the need for sharing it with the world.
Joking aside, I look at it like this: 1) Without any insult intended, having seen him on TV, why is anyone surprised? 2) In this day & age, why does it matter? It's his business and nobody else's. 3) Why does the tabloid press & media even bother to report it?
