<peacedove>Yesterday Hall were there for the taking, but Liverpool were unable to capitalise on their possession. I think Hall would have been happy with a draw.Steve Bruce team during the first half were playing like away team.
Football bloody hell, result can never predicted, I do not think
it is a disaster yet, but Liverpool needs to win all their home games and get something from Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester City. At White Hart Lane Liverpool have not won there since time of Rafa Benitez and with the special one at Chelsea a draw is going to be a good result, and Manchester City who is not going to be happy with a draw?.
Players do get injured from time to time and we cannot blame our bad performance against Hull on Daniel Sturridge injury.<doh><doh>
We need to rise up again like Lazarus.

    December 2013

    Liverpool vs Norwich

    Liverpool vs Westham

    Tottenham vs Liverpool

    Liverpool vs Cardiff

    Man City vs Liverpool

    Chelsea vs Liverpool

All these games are not easy games.

Win the next 2 games and I'm sure our opinion will change again. <ok>

1 win our last 4 is simply not good enough though.

Next 2 are must wins we need to build our confidence and then go into the Spurs match looking to get something from the game.

I'm not that optimistic for Wednesday after the Hull game.

Well, let's hope that embarrassed them enough to go on run to prove they're not a spineless group of ****ers that disgraced our shirt yesterday.

I expect two wins and at least one win and points from the 3 "hard" games to come.

I will say, not a good feeling for Chelsea away, think we can get something with spurs, but Man City, as good as they have been at home, we always seem to raise our game against them, home or away. That will be an interesting game.

TBF, I honestly think a lot of points will be dropped by all the teams fighting for the places over the next month.

    Except maybe City....

  11. I reckon Chelsea will dick on us. I also think we'll struggle against Spurs but get a point.

Knowing us we'll prob trash Norwich 5-0

If we don't get 6/6 in our next 2 then god help us for the Xmas fixtures

  13. I reckon we'll have a poor festive period. Worst time to play the likes of Man City and Chelsea IMO because they are able to play fresh legs whereas we have a set eleven and next to **** all else. Just to make things a bit worse, we are away from home for both of those too, although you could put the "anything is a bonus" spin on those fixtures too (aka - nothing to lose)

Going to be very tough - can't believe Sturridge will miss the lot either.

Desperately need Aspas or someone to step up and start being counted - can't ask for a bigger chance now he's just back and studge is out.

  15. As I've said all season, Coutinho can cover for Suarez and vice-versa but we have no alternative option to Studge. I'll give the lad a chance because all players deserve one and I obviously hope he can prove me wrong too but I can't say I hold much hope for Aspas. I supported Lucas and Henderson from the go because I could see they were able to offer something and would get better with time. I'm seriously struggling to see that with Aspas (and Borini).

I'm not a big fan of Moses or Cissokho either, they are just sticking fillers IMO

Yeah it's certainly more hope than expectation with the bloke, he is no kid either so chances are he'll get this season then be sold on so he needs to start helping out NOW

Disappointed with Moses - genuinely thought he would make a difference for us - seems those few games at number 10 have ruined him!

Sakho is the only summer signing that looks the really deal (toure was a good addition too) can't understand why he can't cement his self the starting 11 - he hasn't real put a foot wrong?

  17. I like Alberto but he's young and not for now. I'm hoping that is the same for Ilori, I've not ever seen him play a game! I like Sakho and Toure, the latter has just had two poor games but he'll come good again.

Moses is our modern Reira IMO; someone that is able to offer width and balance to the side without bring too much to the table. Better as a team despite having a inferior (harsh?) player.

Mweh, I don't think Aspas has played enough to judge him properly. There was talk of looking for a loan move to Valencia because SAS were in such fine form and he wanted games.

Well he's got 8 weeks of games so here is his chance.

<laugh> Just glad we didn't buy him! What do you think they would have got from us? 10-15m <yikes> He may still play a part but I was expecting a very good player if I'm honest.

  20. I agree, I did say I'll give him a chance because all players deserve at least that. I'm just not very optimistic, hope I'm wrong <ok>
