We're third in the 'Cost per Point' table this season. Behind Newcastle and Stoke.

Sunderland, Spurs & Man City make up the bottom 3.

I'd post the image but I'm struggling to attach it for some reason.

    Full list:

    1) Newcastle
    2) Stoke
    3) Hull City
    4) WBA
    5) Aston Villa
    6) Everton
    7) Fulham
    8) Man Utd
    9) Swansea
    10) Arsenal
    11) West Ham
    12) Southampton
    13) Norwich
    14) Liverpool
    15) Chelsea
    16) Cardiff
    17) Palace
    18) Sunderland
    19) Man City
    20) Spurs

Fairly pointless but found it quite interesting. Were it squad price per points I'm sure we'd be top by a distance.

Slightly warped due to the number of transfers made by clubs.

Newcastle spent nothing in the summer, so no matter what they will always be top.

They actually spent £2 million apparently, presumably Remy loan fee/that kid they bought but admittedly they'd have to do shockingly to not be top.

Spurs have spent over £5 million per point this season, which is a bit mental.

WE need to compare ourselves with Cardiff and Palarse, as we had to spend when coming up from the Championship, which really shows what a good job SB has done with his buying.

Really interesting IMO. Compare our performance to fellow promotion teams, Cardiff and Palace, who both spent ridiculous sums on players who have contributed very little and you realize what a brilliant job Steve Bruce and his staff have done. Di Canio screwed Sunderland every which way and Norwich was almost as bad.

I think it would be more interesting over say a 2/3 year period would give a better long term perspective. So say the last 2/3 years worth of spending, or cost of the first XI for example.
