AA will be the reason for SB leaving, not the fans. Like the guy from the Independent said on MOTD2, as a start he could ditch the shirt sponsor who brings in around £2m and put Tigers on the shirt; if AA is right what he says about it's strength, this is a no-brainer. Truth is that everyone knows this whole thing is stark, staring crazy and that AA has either lost the plot or is playing a very hard game against the council - probably both, is the fact of it. Either way, he has left his manager with no choice but to become involved (and you can bet your bottom dollar he has taken advice), just as chairmen will see him as being vulnerable to a offer.
The thing is, we all have that little tugging feeling in our gut that Allam could very well throw another wobbler here and sack him. He's called him out more publicly here than Barmby did, on something he is far more entrenched in. If he doesn't sack him, it's because he's higher profile and achieved enough for us to let it go...for now. He'll sanction him in some way though. It's the way he works. Also, for Bruce, he knows that Allam is this type of bloke, but if worse comes to the worse and he flies off on another rage, it wouldn't be long before he was in work again somewhere else. I plead with Allam, engage brain before speaking on this one!
