Should keep the Nepotism crowd quiet. Hopefully send them packing for good.

    Outstanding performance by The Tigers!

Great win, all were immense, hats off to Bruce who had a great game. Sagbo was also great, going to have a good evening after that result. UTT

I thought Sagbo did a great job. Davies was immense. I thought Liverpool got it wrong. The included two wide players to attack our defence but, despite the amount of possession they had, they never pushed their full backs forward to support them. They never really got two on one against us on the wings. Last time we were in the Premiership, teams often did that against McShane. I thought the introduction of Rosenior in response to their substitution was really good as it continued to deny them access down the wings. If Suarez put as much effort into playing as he does diving, he would have created more today but he was not really threat at all. All credit to Davies and Bruce. What is it that people don't like about him? Agreat result.

Slightly? It was going about 4 feet wide. I was right behind it. It was directed wide from the moment he kicked it and it was curling wider yet. No idea what he was thinking, should have just drilled it hard and low into the net. Thudd tries to be to casual and fancy at the best of times, he just needs to get the job done.

Liverpool played to narrow for me, our strength is in Huddlestone and Livermore, they need to put far more pressure on Elmo, but i think Bruce got it right. The team and the shape was excellent, i would go very similar away against Arsenal.

Whatever we all think about the name change, we can all be United in celebrating this game, what a brilliant performance and result.

What, Hull United now? More protests to come about that.

Fantastic game and fantastic atmosphere. Nervous until we made it 3 but just a thoroughly enjoyable day and I couldn't pick one single player out for MoM because they were all immense. Going to be hard to get those tired legs going for Arsenal but it should give them their confidence back. Really well done to the team and to the supporters, just very loud singing and a bit of jumping!

I feared the worst when Suarez was (almost) through. Bruce was a beast today, I expected the worst, I got the best. Oh yes.

Did Webb really not give a single yellow card to a Liverpool player today? I thought some of our cards were unfair.

Can Tom claim that goal? I bet he's itching to shave his head!

I know it looks like hindsight but honestly I thought that was a good team selection before the game apart from Koren. I love the 352, we get forward so much better in that system. Bruce and Meyler are way underrated.

We were brilliant today. The midfield in particular impressed me. We've needed them to get forward like that recently and they did it brilliantly. Liverpool hardly created anything. Did McGregor make a save?

The back 3 were immense. Bruce, apart from a typically composed hoof into the stands after 4 seconds, proved his critics wrong again. Davies was dominant and made a couple of great Chester-like tackles with players running at him. Elmo and Brady ran the wings well, the middle 3 were excellent. Meyler I think is great. He's obviously not as talented as the other two but his ability to get forward and grab a goal from midfield is vital. Sagbo led the line like an absolute beast. Being marked by Skrtel on your own is hard but he made a fist of it and won a lot of balls on his own. Also held the ball up well for the third goal. Should have set Livermore up though immediately before that instead of shooting.

Koren was the only weak link. His first 30 minutes today were just embarrassing. He lost everything in that half hour and wanted the ref to help him out instead of taking some responsibility and winning anything himself. He got better towards the end of the half but still not good enough overall. He has games like that every so often. He's not captain material, the example he sets in terms of commitment is crap.

Thought Graham did well when he came on too! Created a few chances with nice little touches, and probably should've had a goal if Elmo would have squared it.

I think it'll stay an OG. From the replay I'm certain Thudd's initial shot was going wide and there was no announcement of the goalscorer, (could be really funny if the announcer screamed Own Goal scorers' names in the normal way though).

The whole team were great today and whilst I don't like singling players out for criticism, I agree Koren was the weakest player - he looked to be on a different wavelength to the rest. And Elmo should never play RB - he was so much better after Rosy came on and played further up the field, (I'd almost go as far as saying that sub won us the game in that it gave us much more attacking momentum).

Match of the Day ‏@BBCMOTD 1m

    #MOTD 2 on @BBCOne at 22.25 and running order is Spurs-Man Utd, Hull City-Liverpool, Man City-Swansea City and Chelsea-Southampton.

Even after that they still can't ****ing get top draw.

    Ridiculous.

Despite the press and all the radio stations saying that this is the biggest upset of the season so far, a draw beats us in the running order on MOTD.

    What more can we do??

You are Phil Brown and I claim my £5!

Former Hull manager Phil Brown at KC StadiumHull 3-1 Liverpool

"The loss of Daniel Sturridge looks a massive blow now for Liverpool. It could be one of those that signals a movement from them in the transfer market.

"Liverpool were not up to standard today. But to spin that on its head, you have to take your hat off to Hull manager Steve Bruce.

"He was very tactically astute, playing a 5-3-2 formation to start and then changing it on the hour-mark to a 4-3-3. Those decisions won it for me."

The one game today that didn't produce a winner? It'd better be a barnstormer!

If it had been Palace winning 3-1 against Liverpool instead I would have wanted to see that as top draw.

Not everyone supports a big team.
