It's like playing with 10 men with De Guzman in the team, hope he's subbed at half time, and Dyer comes on!..................
Played well and unlucky to be behind. Shelvey superb. Tiendalli good so far as well. Are last 11 league goals have been second half, I think, so here's hoping.
Intriguing first half As expected City have looked to settle for Swansea to have plenty of possession and look to play on the break Swansea are a far better outfit than the spurs side that we played in almost identical tactics and will go into the break feeling they should be at least level, not seen a replay yet but it looked a penalty on the Swansea player earlier, don't know who it was as it's at the opposite end to me All to play for 2nd half
Okay so at half time things do not look all that bad? Swansea have probably been the better team and it seems as though Man City are resorting to counter attacks which is a valid tactic in it's own right as overall our team has found it's passing boots. At the end of the day with that last statement we can only remember about 4 or 5 stray passes, and yes a couple were bad, but if ever pass connects we'd have 60+ shots at goal lol The goal was perhaps a bit naivety from our Keeper who should have been expecting the shot to go that side as he set up the wall to protect his left, Negredo was always going for the right in that case. Man City do look deadly on those counter attacks and we need to be 100% on the mark in defence but their back 6 (include the two central mids as well) is somewhat being sliced upon a a few occasions suggesting other opportunities may come our way. Let's hope our boys come out with the same mindset as they had in the first half, attack, attack, attack. We are a much better attacking team than we are defending! Also, I hope this puts to bed the idea ref's cannot decide results... we should have had a penalty and that may have made Man City cave a little bit and they would have committed more from their two centre midfielders, meaning our attacking would have had less men to slice through.
