Actually fair play to Kyle on that one. I don't think a draw is an unrealistic prediction. I think we'll just sneak it, but a draw wouldn't be an unreasonable result.
I say we take an early lead via our pace demon, Cardiff slowly get back into the game but our backline holds out and then we hit them on the counter late in the second half to wrap things up.
I take that as a huge compliment. We've seen 4 of last seasons top 6 so far at home and only your mates from across North London have beaten us (with a 93rd minute winner, after dominating tbf).
I'm pretty sure you'll beat us but Malky has made the CCS a pretty difficult place to visit.
Good luck for the rest of the season except on Saturday and New years day
Spot on, at the start of the season the so called pundits would be saying that you need to improve your squad but at the end of the day you are where you are on merit and with the squad you have.
We're 2nd and playing well, we can manage without Suarez as we have shown in the first 6 games of the season with Coutinho and Sturridge our forward line is good, most us us think that we lack a midfielder and could sustain a challenge if we get the right player in the January transfer window. (as long as we stay up there until then)
We tend to have a good end to the season so the Christmas fixtures are going to be crucial for us.
Not forgetting they were beating Chelsea till that cheat goal rattled them and they went to pieces.
Who put these fixtures together?
First we get Utd then Arsenal...I ask you is that fair? When do we get an easy game here?
To be honest this Malky keeps picking the wrong team and getting a result...we are just hoping he can keep us up at this point.

That's like saying Newcastle are better than you guys despite being 9 points behind and you sitting in 1st.
Most of us know we don't have the squad to challenge for the title, and if we do it will be one hell of a season for us, but top 4 certainly isn't beyond us if we manage to keep the squad in Jan and add a midfielder/full back.
If we can take 3 points against Hull (i think we will) and Everton (they are playing well this season and it'll be a difficult game but we are at home and i think we will get the points), then i'm confident we will still be top of the table after the City and Chelsea games.
And if we are top of the table after playing all of the top teams once then we are looking good going into the next half of the season.

Well bear in mind that City have their game against Bayern Munich (for some reason, we're playing our game against Napoli one day before them). So I'm sure that will wear them down a bit. In form right now, they'd definitely beat us but a lot can can happen in these next two weeks. As it stands now, I'd be happy with a draw Etihad stadium but depending on what happens in these next few weeks... a win is still possible.

Its almost . dare i say it , a winning mentality .
Almost , fragile , but definitely growing in belief , and in this game , belief is everything , its what keeps you fighting for that equaliser in the 93rd minute .
Without it , you lose the game in the 40th , 50th 60th minute .
When they score , you have lost .
We are not like that any more.
We have belief in our ability to win .
From this small seed of belief , something victorious may grow.

Got to say fella, you are right. Your team now has the belief, mentality and strength to go on and walk this league, your main problem might be injuries to important players (Ozil, Ramsey, Kos and Merts) other than that you have enough depth to see you over the line.

Ozil and Ramsey have been the catalysts for what so far has been great Arsenal form. The rest of the team have been infected with positivity and confidence. atm I really can't see it being derailed even by a loss, losing at OT has not affected you lot at all which is great news. Injuries are the only real threat to Arsenal's season I can see right now. Things are really looking good thus far, you lot are by a margin better than any other side in the PL to date this season.
I think it is cheap punditry, when you hear journos and football pundits say they do not think we are going to win the title because we have not really beaten anyone of note. When you look at the teams who have beaten teams like Liverpool, Manure, Chelsea and Spuds, you begin to wonder...... I really cant believe Hull doing a number on Liverpool. At the end of the day, we are not responsible for the fixture list, you can only beat what is in front of you.
There is a lot of football still to be played, usually by now in seasons past (come December) we are already out of the reckoning..... So nice feeling to have our noses in front with almost 1/3 of the season gone. I just hope other teams continue to look at the top of the table and say, we can afford to slip up, it is only the gooners at the top, all we have to do is put a run together we will overhaul them, whilst we quietly go about racking in the points. By the the time they realize we have built up a water tight lead!

Looking at the league table just now, Chelsea Man City Man Utd Liverpool us (Arsenal) and Spurs are obviously the top teams. Thats 12 really big games. Then there are teams like Everton Swansea West Brom and Newscastle that are very capable of beating any of the previous six that i have mentioned, so thats 20 games out of the season where i don't think its acceptable to play at less than 75-80% of our maximum capacity.
The point i'm trying to get at is every week the teams around us in contention for the title will drop points, between the threat that southampton and everton have posed and the shaky form of the other teams in around us it is vital that we establish as big a lead as possible. Man City are still shaky away from home and it will be interesting to see how they cope with having to play in the champions league after christmas.
Win our next two games an it will set us up perfectly for the big double header.
