Win today and we go up to 10th. Mac Rosy Davies Faye/Bruce Figgy elmo Hudd Livermore Meyler Brady Graham I would be happy with 4-4-2 and Graham/ Sagbo /Gedo up front and really have a go at them. Only reason i picked Graham is he holds it up better than the other two in a 4-5-1
I'd be happy with that line up. Although I might leave Meyler out and stick Boyd just behind the striker.
I have it on good authority ( = rumour) that, at 19.04, the whole of the East Stand will rise as one and 'Sieg Heil' our Doctator.......
Rosie definitely. Elmo is probably a better RWB though. I'd play Rosenior over Elmo every day of the week. Sky have all access at City on their show today.
We played like this all last year, and when we have played the best. Spurs/Man City, we sat back and played on the counter. We have no other choice, unfortunately.
The team selection doesn't fill me with much confidence going into the game today. Personally I would've gone with the following. McGregor Rosenior Davies Faye Figueroa Elmo Livermore Meyler Huddlestone Brady Sagbo We completely lacked any penetration out wide last game as we didn't play with proper wingers. Moving Elmo up the field from right back, which should've been done long ago, and bringing Brady back in on the left would solve that to some extent. I agree with bringing Meyler in to add more bite into the midfield, possibly allowing Livermore more freedom to get forward, but I can't see why Bruce has been closen over Faye at the back.
Sounds like a good atmosphere. Slightly concerned our 3-5-2 will be exploited though by the pace of Moses and Sterling who will be able to get in behind the wing backs.
