Obi.... you have conducted yourself on this board in a respectful manner, and you should be celebrating your victory but somehow I feel when Allam puts out his announcement tomorrow that he is selling the club because of the "likely" reaction that happens today, that victory will leave a sour taste.

This was always going to be... Allam gets his way and the club moves forward, or Allam take his bat and ball home and the club fight for survival (and I don't mean premier league survival)

For that reason, I'm sad that your campaign has been successful.

He's always been taking his money out in the form of interest and salary. We were always going to need additional funding. If you were an investor, would you look at his press releases and feel comfortable putting your money in with him?

There will be no buyers... so he will just recover what he can by selling the players and cutting the wage bill and keeping the parachute payments.

According to AA it will bring in more money, if that's the case then why would anyone disagree? He's made it very explicit that he's not just changing the name for the sake of it. Although football is just a game for most of us it does massively effect other businesses. If the name change helps us stay in the Prem then who would realistically be against that?

Admiration. When Portsmouth got ripped off left right and centre they got together and saved their club. Yes they may be in League 2 but they made sure their club didn't go out of existence.

Allam won't sell up, they've just bought Ferriby for christ sake! It'll be part of a big plan and bright futures for our local clubs.

I do think he should get his money back, but that's not what he said his game plan was.

He's got a fair chunk back, (don't foget, some was security, not payment) the only way of getting the rest back is to sell up,the only way to sell up is to show us a viable proposition. His media releases don't do much for that.

You say that as though he is being sneaky. Surely he deserves a salary and his interest rate is very low for a loan i understand.

He also showed he'd misread some and not read the rest of the report he got his flawed logic from. By his own evidence, it shows it wont work.

No, it can hardly be sneaky when it's in the public domain. I'm pointing it out to those saying he should have his money back, despite his public claim it was a gift to us.

Ye but he cant welsh on them, i was told on here. He doesnt have to show "us" anything, to a potential buyer its if its profitable and can they earn out of it.

So in your opinion why is he doing this then? He's risked £66m of his own money for what? And only yesterday he said that he was more than happy to break our transfer record again, what more do all the fans want? You can't have everything!

Come on your both playing with words. The football team in the premier league was the gift not giving you his inheritance.

I was asking you a question not comparing the situation with historic events. Simply asking you if you have also been a yes man drama queen in another situation.

Let me put it another way:-

Do you believe having someone in charge of the club who is so volatile he threatens to run down the club if his proposals are questioned is a healthy situation to be in?

At what point does he cross the line?

Are you so enamoured by the PL that you'd agree with all he proposes?

In what way do you believe Hull Tigers will be a financial revelation?

Do you believe the name change proposal is a result of his spat with the council?

    Who's your second team?

I warned of the same a few weeks passed but my post seemed to be ignored. Those using offensive remarks are the dregs of society and we will be lucky to exist as a club if the Allams leave. There will be no City and instead Ferriby will play at KC
