Obligatory YouTube clip... Thoughts? DTLW
Skilful, good shot on him, good penalty taker, can pick a pass, played 3 times for Germany and a pre-contract which means a free in the summer. But I must say I had never heard of him until this article.
Always liked Werder Bremen when they had Micoud, Dieago, Ozil, Marin and Hunt who played alongside most of them. Watch alot of their games and he is definatly for me either the best if not 2nd best player for them, though that isn't saying much for Bremen these days. I like hunts industry he works hard for the team, good vision and would suits saints style of play, Is he better than what we have atm though? I'm not sure
Wow, that Youtube clip of Aaron Hunt was that good it reminded me of a certain Steve De Ridder, another Youtube star?
Would be a good signing on a free. He would be a good player to have as cover. Not quite starting 11 but would say not far off.
Thats the problem with YouTube - every player looks brilliant on it!! Don't know enough about the guy to make any comment - I know he's free but he's not in the mould of a younger player we are bringing on... I am not too excited by this player...
Hunt's really versatile, he's similar to a German Lallana! Can play across the front 3 and works really hard just like our Adam. Plus we need a German, so I'm all for it.
Good player, saw him on TV a bit when Bremen were in the Champions league and had Diego and Klose. He was on of their better players 3/4 years ago.
Free? Could be a good investment. Would he be cover for lallana? Or playing on the other side with 1 striker?
I think we'd do better to offer them a small amount of money and have him for half a season longer. They might not feel the same though.
I was sure you were going to say: "Not with that 'h' at the start"! Fairly bullish on this one. A highly valued player only a short while ago, in a good league against a good standard of opposition. Seems his form isn't quite as hot now, but he's a good player and seems to fit the system, sounds kinda like Dejan in that regard. Would be worth a go, especially at a low price. Think of the deal Spurs cut to get Holtby, they could have had him for free but bought out his 6 months for €1.75 million. Could be a bargain. Low risk of being a bust.
