MOTD showed Independent on Sunday headlines saying Allams may sell up if Hull City fans don't accept the name change..

AKA "We're taking our ball home"

How ****ing childish and amateurish this reign is fizzling out into..

Why not have a share launch? - up to 49% if you want to keep control, to raise revenue Mr Allam?

NB Name of Paper edited - Gary Lineker mentioned it at the end & I didn't clearly catch the name correctly!

Wouldn't you rather he left to keep the name as it is though?

We are much much better prospect for a potential investor than we was when he bought us. If he sold us, it wouldn't be the end of the world. Yes, he save the club, but he's also a twat.

To quote the fans of tomorrow's opposition, "Calm down!" Article says he May sell up - not he will. Has this been confirmed or is it journalistic licence? And if Allam Did sell up, then presumably the purchaser(s) would need to be rather wealthy themselves? Nowhere does this suggest Allam will just walk away.

Yep, the person buying will have to be able to fund a premier league club (hopefully). So it wouldn't be the end of the world if he did sell up.

    Who's he gonna sell to?

If anyone wants to buy the club they'll be able to pay the debt to Allamhouse off. So great result for us. More likely no one will want to buy us though.

Typical Allam soundbite nonsense that will only make him look silly again.

I'd rather he left either way personally.

if the ownership changed hands & we stayed Hull City AFC then the job's a good'un IMO

I'll/I'd always be grateful to Mr Allam for saving the club and getting us where we are but there is this one little "Keep off the grass" sign that practically everyone has on their lawn round here..

I'd rather stay with Allam. Seriously. He may have acted like a **** to certain sections if support but he's got a business head and he'll keep this club operating well and healthy. Because he has to, to protect his investment, or risk losing the lot.

After some of the crooked regimes we've been subject to, I'm surprised any city fan would want to roll the dice again when we've got someone tied to us by the balls.

Remember that, the club has Allamhouse by the balls. He has so far £66m of his personal wealth here, which we couldn't even dream of getting anywhere close to recuperating for a good while yet.

I'll take the safe option, even if he does want to **** about doing stupid things and having silly spats with councils and supporters groups. At least I feel safe and secure in the fact I will still have a club to support in 10 years time.

Edit: lots of autocorrect twattery in that. We instead of we, if instead of of. And others. ****ing phone.

Edit 2: it fûcking well did it again. ****. We instead of HE! **** phone

I know what you mean, this is a valid point but I think he's just too unstable. We do have him by the balls financially but he also has us by the balls in terms of making the decisions. You just never know what he's going to say or do next.

He might make barmy decisions but he's not going to literally destroy the club. How many people are there about who can afford to pay off Allams investment, ad whatever price he slaps on top for the controlling stake of a premier league club? Who are willing to buy into a secluded and nondescript club like ours?

Are those people likely to give a **** about the city of hull, the history and heritage of the club, or the continuing future security and competitivity of the club?

Are they likely to just be after a flashy premier league toy for a bit?

Dr Allam added that displaying banners reading "City Till I Die" and "We Are Hull City" distracts the players, prevents other fans watching the game and infringes on the rights of advertisers. The banners are accompanied by chants of "City Till We Die", but Dr Allam said of the perpetrators: "They can die as soon as they want, as long as they leave the club for the majority who just want to watch good football."

What a despicable and deceitful man he's proving to be.

I have never heard anyone who can contradict himself so many times in such short comments whilst seeming entirely oblivious of doing so.

So now I'm a hooligan for not agreeing with Allam, what a statement from our chairman, if and it's a big if, he has put £60m of his own money in, he will not walk away and leave that sort of cash, if we stay up another £30m is due next season and every season after that.

What is it with foreign owners, they are all ****ing idiots who think they can use football clubs as a toy, Al Fayed was another. Allam has the same mentality as most other very wealthy people, no one close to them dare say nothing in case they get sacked or took out of the will.

He must be mentally ill only a couple of weeks ago he said supporters can call the team what they like now we are hooligans for doing what he said, section him someone and run our club properly.

It's just laughable now. Look at the CTWD comment compared to his outburst. Yet people still insist he's this composed mastermind and CTWD are out of their depth <laugh>

He says we can die as soon as we want ffs. He said it was a minority of 200 only a week or so ago, now he's crying because the majority don't support his name change, which he of course interprets as not supporting him <doh>

That's the point though, no one will buy us unless they're mega rich enough to be able to afford to take the initial financial hit. The more likely scenario is that he won't be able to sell the club.
