    Some of you guys...

    that's 4 on the trot.

Four. Up to 5th in table. How can some of you lot be critical?

That was nothing but comfortable. Of course WBA were going to get the odd chance but we were cruising there. Only criticism I have is we should have made some changes after the goal and try and keep the pressure on.

And you have to wonder where we'd be in the table if we hadn't thrown those two games. We're showing some serious form here. Winning comfortably without playing well?

    I'll take that any day.

Ameobi MOTM. !!!!!! Great goal from Sissoko and a very hard earned 3 pts. Willo once again had a decent game but I'm not sure about Colo any more as he is constantly getting caught out to any ball hit over the top.
Get Long in the January window as he'll be a great asset.

Williamson should have won MOTM, had one small fault but he was great throughout.

Agree about getting Long in January, he'd be fantastic here and really suit Pardew's setup.

Another viral 3 points, up to 5th, an absolutely cracking winner from Sissoko, another superb performance from Gouf ...and...

    ... drum roll please...

... we finally have a positive goal difference!

Agree. Long would provide great competition up front. Our fans would love his work rate and he's a decent goal scorer too.

Sissoko's goal was a worthy match winner.

Hit it as sweet as a nut.

An early report of the game from NUFC.com

Moussa Sissoko fired Newcastle up to fifth in the Premier League as United completed a 100% November with a 2-1 win over West Bromwich Albion on Saturday in the live TV teatime game.

Yoan Gouffran continued his recent run of scoring with the opener - from another corner - but the visitors had got back on terms through Chris Brunt before Sissoko's sizzler made it four wins on the trot for Alan Pardew's side.

It was another hard-earned victory but well deserved as United edged out the visitors, creating more chances on the back of a greater share of the possession and now Pardew must be in line to pick up Manager of the Month for November.

It's a massive turnaround after the defeat on wearside and with seemingly inevitable defeats against Manchester City, Chelsea and Tottenham to follow, his job appeared to be in jeopardy.

But the wins over Chelsea and Spurs have been followed up with two home successes in eight days watched by over 100,000 - Magnificent!

It was superb! Almost as good as that shoulder barge he dished out in the first half. Immense!

Good game, good performance against a talented side. We were on it again first half. Really imposing ourselves on the oppo at present. Willo was MOTM for me, Shola was very good again though. Hard to fault anyone, working well as a unit. Difficult decision for Pards now. Stick with this on Wed or freshen up to make the physical advantage (Swansea played Thurs, then Man C today) count.

Quite comfortable I thought yesterday once we got back in front.

Must be tempting to stick with the same line up but he MUST tweak it. Ferguson, Mourinho etc would never play the same 11 for two games in four days.

By not changing it he's not using Swansea's hectic schedule to our advantage. Anita, Ben Arfa and Cisse should come in with the latter two told that to have a chance of keeping their starting place they have to work equally as hard as the rest of the team.

Shola should have a rest, as should one of Tiote or Cabaye. Maybe even Remy and play Hatem off Cisse. It's a tough one for Pardew but he must use the strength of the squad to his advantage. All the top managers do this.
