Here we go then, this is our official chance to show that there are far more than a couple of hundred people that are opposed to the name change, our own referendum, that has so far been denied to us by Assem Allam. What can't speak can't lie, so let's see how many votes we can get to hopefully make The FA sit up and take notice. Please make as many City supporters aware of this petition as possible https://www.change.org/en-GB/petiti...ciation-stop-the-name-change-of-hull-city-afc Apologies if this has already been done, but I don't think that it has, not in this format anyway
There is a petition already which had around 5,000 signatures last I heard, but it wasn't addressed to the FA like this one.
Ok, I just tend to think that the change.org has the potential to capture many more signatures. Is there a problem running two referendums?
I don't think there are many for the name change, if any. That's why it hasn't been mentioned before as an idea. Most people are indifferent and don't see it as a life threatening change and not worth fretting over. Obviously some people do.
I thought it was quite clear that this is not a "i want/do not want a name change" question. Somehow a few months later some still don't get it.
So, the pro name change referendum's now complete and contains zero signatures. Hmm, I wonder what that means in a democracy.
