I wonder if its because of threats to recall Borini and loan him some where else.

All we need now are goals from Villa and Newcastle and today will be the most pointlessly predictable day ever. Just give 3 points to the higher team and save everyone from having to travel.

This season started out looking like a nice and open league, but now it's just **** and everyone outside the top 8 should be ashamed of themselves.

was sort of obvious though. Everton were never going to drop points against Stoke at home and Cardiff had already taken points from United & City, chances of them doing it against Arsenal as well were slim. Tomorrow is when Spurs/United play each other so one is certain to drop points and Chelsea could well drop points to Southampton in their current form.

In a way we could look at it as a good day (obviously if we win tomorrow <laugh>) if only because we need to be able to handle the pressure of getting points after others have.

The top teams will always have good weekends, I watched the Gunners game and they had to fight for the win. It wasn't plain sailing until the second went in but they kept going and ended up worthy winners....we need to show we can do the same and we need to show we can get a long run of results. If we can't handle the pressure now we sure as hell won't be able to come March or April.

Fingers crossed we can start to improve our away form again because it's in danger of holding us back a bit with only 2 points from the last 9 available.

    1-0 Newcastle

Keeper punched the ball up in the air from a corner to allow a simple header into open net <doh>

Wow! It only took 6 games to get one where both teams can score!

With that Everton and Newcastle result, we do need to win tomorrow and hope for a draw with Spurs and United.

Makes the top even more congested with those wins.
