Just looking for some recommendations on comedians for when I'm bored. Just finished one of Kevin Hart's stand up shows, was really impressed.
I like Kevin Bridges, has he got any shows. I'm on Netflix now, browsing. What do you think about Sarah Millican? Many people are split.
Depends on what you like mate. Jim Jefferies makes me chuckle. If you can find the clip on You Tube about his trip to Amsterdam and his visit to the sex shop it'll make you laugh. Very raw mind, make sure her indoors isn't in the room.
Not bothered with stand up for awhile but Jasper Carrott and Joe Pasquale used to have me in stitches.
And I'm assuming you've seen all of Alan Partridges material? Monty Python is a must see too.. In fact I'll be here all night so ill leave it at that.
Millican is dogshit, just one cake/fat joke after another, she's like Jo Brand but not as hot. Frank Skinner is brilliant live, as is Lee Mack.
Mickey Flanagan is excellent and under-exposed. The Frau and I often put his Out- Out Tour CD on when we land after a couple of shandies. Here is a short, understated clip:
Micky Flanagan brilliant, saw him in Leeds in September, proper working class comedian. Excellent. Lee Mack's brilliant too. I recommend Stuart Francis too. Great one liners. Every time i turn the telly on now that Josh Widdicombe's on. Why?
It's no surprise, he refuses to do TV, you won't find DVDs and he doesn't promote his tours, playing venues he can sell out without doing any press beforehand. He's apparently the most requested guest ever for QI but he won't go on. I remember seeing an interview with Stuart Lee and Mark Thomas saying after they saw Daniel Kitson they both thought they might as well give up.
