It would be daft as they wouldn't show it on the telly anyway.

It would be daft full stop. What has it being shown on the telly got to do with it? Instead of planning stupid pitch invasions why don't these "fans" put their energy into getting behind the team and out singing the scousers throughout Sunday's match?

Spot on. They'll lose what little remaining support they still have from the vast majority of supporters who are completely fed up with their daft 19.04 antics and banner waving but could also cost the club a big fine and throw away the respect we've earned around the League for our hard nosed performances against the big boys on the field. Silly little men go spit your dummies out in the pub after the game ....while you blather on about "our heritage" after you've had a few to fortify your manhood. Pathetic!!

Yeah, it was definitely a teeny tiny minority that booed the stewards and applauded the banner carriers last game. <doh>

And the banner wasn't even the CTWD group.

But why let facts get in the way of a whinge at them?

come on CANADA, usually you're a spot on poster, but the game last week... it was MASSIVE support

don't let your distance get in the way of facts

You seem very disappointed with a number of posters tonight. It's like you're finding out Santa isn't real and your childhood is being shattered.

For any kids reading this, I was joking about Santa not being real.

Corrected for you.

OK...i'll concede it may have been more substantial than I could see from watching on TV, although the commentators were pretty scathing in their comments. But PITCH INVASION??? Come on...surely no one in their right mind would say this is an appropriate way to express dissent. I remember the last intra-game pitch invasion nearly cost us a place in the Prem when a bunch of idiots interrupted Prossies penalty taking against Cardiff. Thank god McCormack saved our bacon. I'm all for a good pitch invasion to express joy and thanks....I was out there with the crowd after we beat Watford to get to Wembley. But this one...if it happens... would be stupid, disruptive to the team, and totally counter-productive.

I'd never been so angry and amazed when the idiots ran on the pitch before the game had even finished!

no, NO ONE has ever suggested a pitch invasion EVER, where did you get that from?

Nobody is saying it is, or that there's actually going to be one. There's a rumour there's going to be one because one person posted there would be one in the middle of a rant against things.

The fact the rumour is with the club and not amongst the fans until now speaks volumes for it's credibility. I'm pretty sure if anybody was organising one that they'd at least be able to keep it from the club until some fans knew.

See Posts #1 and #9 on here. And of course the title of this thread.

I think the stewards are preparing for a pitch invasion, I don't necessarily think fans are pushing for one. Security always look at the most extreme cases, just in case. See our game at Huddersfield for example.

Coming the week after the Brentford game where a penalty was awarded to one side, missed, and the other side countered and scored I thought it was ridiculous people even got that carried away about us getting a penalty. Didn't Leicester have the same thing happen in one of their games as well? And I seem to remember at least 2 of the games had the same referee.

McCormack didn't save our bacon by the way Canada, had he not scored his goal we'd still have been promoted.

I watched the Watford vs Leicester game, it was amazing. Like when Man City scored two extra time goals to win the league. The moments are just unbelievable.

Just hope you're right and its nothing more than a rumour. Especially looking forward to this one as my wife is a Scouser and will be screaming away in another room. I have a feeling we'll do better than most on the Prediction thread are suggesting. Could be a close one. If Sturridge is out they'll have lost a big threat although the obnoxious Suarez can create something from nothing
