The big stores are very protective over their staff discount cards - for understandable reasons I suppose. As they should only be used for your benefit as their employee, not to either pass on to your mates i.e. Joe Public who should be paying full pops, or for you to be profiteering out of moving on gear that you're buying at special rate.

I'd have thought that it could probably class as gross misconduct (dependant on exactly what your contract or employee handbook, states around the use of staff discount cards) However, I'd expect that the site manager will have the ability to issue a final written instead, should he choose to.
