I've got mixed feelings on this. I want him to get first team football but would be reluctant to sell him as I think he has a lot of promise.

I'd let him out on loan again.

The quote he said to the Argus doesn't make sense, he says that Pardew hasn't spoken to him yet he played him against Chelsea?

    From NUFC.com:
Kazenga LuaLua quoted in the Shields Gazette, as published online, May 19th:

Kazenga LuaLua quoted in the Brighton Argus, as published online, June 10th:

He's either bullshitting us/you or the Argus is.

When I saw him against Carlisle in pre-season, I didn't think he looked that good. However, some of his appearances for Brighton and a few moments in the Chelsea game shows his has real talent. Would let him out on loan for another season and see how he handles the Championship.

I'd happily sell for £2+ million. He looks good, but reminds me way too much of his brother

hes young and fast, so is sam ameobi...i would loan them both out to lower league clubs so they can get game time.

Then next year or even in jan i would re-assess and then decide what to do.

To be honest both lua lua and amobi ran at the chelsea defence and looked pretty decent and confident, future could be bright for us.

If he isn't willing to stick with us and fight for his place in the team, he can go.

It sounds to me like he knows it'll be difficult so he just wants out anywhere as long as he gets first team football. Although I find it odd that he'd choose some EPL level football at Newcastle for Brighton.

Loan him to a promotion chasing championship team, or even Brighton, think he needs another season under his belt of first team of football

Skilful, quick and brainless (in football terms). The last one tends to negate the other two unfortunately.

Cracking player. Could probably make it into the Prem one day.

I've heard BHA are signing him for around £1,300,000.

Nooo, a lot of talent is there, just 1 or 2 more years of experience and he can be a great player!

Like said above by my fellow toon fans, there appears to be a conflict of stories between the two local papers both claiming direct quotes unless one paper is lying or something has changed in the past few weeks that has made him rethink his position at the toon.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see...

this. I've got a better footballing brain than him. Saw him play in a cup match a couple of years back, and his poor reading of the game meant he was always a second too slow in making a run/pass. Might have improved since then though.

He won't get in our team with our midfield numbers next year, but I don't want to lose one of our best young assets. Have him on loan again!
