evening all. following our deal for henderson, it seems as if this season will be unpredictable, (which makes my title look like a shambles). anway, i just wanted to know your predictions for next season. including.... champions rest of top 4 ( in order) 5th 6th 3 relegated ( in order) top goalscorer and the rest of the signings you expect liverpool to complete. i'll start us off. champions-Chelsea rest of top 4- Man U, Liverpool, Man C 5th-Arsenal 6th-Spurs 3 relegated-Swansea, Blackburn, Wigan top goalscorer-Suarez or hernandez and the rest of the signings you expect liverpool to complete-Mata, Enrique, Perroti. What's your thoughts.
1 Man u 2 Chelsea 3 Man City 4 Liverpool 5 Arsenal 6 Spurs/Everton 7 Spurs/Everton 18 Swansea 19 Wigan 20 Norwich Top Goalscorer - Hernandez Liverpool signings - Wickham, Clichy, Doni, Mata/Downing
Champions - Man Utd/Chelsea Rest of the top Four - Man City, Liverpool/Arsenal. 5th - Liverpool/Tottenham 6th - Liverpool/Tottenham (I think Tottenham's squad is good enough to finish above Liverpool but Liverpool are more consistent and are looking more active in the transfer market). 3 relegated - Swansea, Norwich, Wolves Top goalscorer - Tough one, any out of Rooney, Berbatov, Hernandez, Torres (don't laugh!), Suarez, Drogba, Tevez.
Champions: United or Chelsea. Rest of the top four: City and Liverpool. 5th: Arsenal. 6th: Spurs. Relegation places: Blackburn, Norwich and Swansea. Top goalscorer: Suarez, Hernandez or Tevez. (If he stays in England) Almost forgot to mention, welcome to the forum ShanklyFC8910!
1. Man City, 2. Man United, 3. Liverpool, 4. Chelsea, 5. Arsenal, 6. Spurs Relegated: Wolves, Blackburn and Swansea. Top Goalscorer: Carroll (it's a risk, but if he can find form again and really get a link with the other players I think he will fire on all cylinders). Signings: Clichy, Mata and another attacker (don't know who)
Man City/Chelsea Man City/ Chelsea Liverpool (hopefully)/United Liverpool/United Arsenal/Spurs Relegated..Aston Villa,Swansea and Norwich Top goalscorer...Torres or Suarez
CHAMPIONS - ? TOP 4 - LIVERPOOL, CHELSEA, UNITED, CITY 5/6 - ARSENAL/TOTENHAM RELEAGTED - QPR, NORWICH, SWANSEA TOP GOALSCORER - SUAREZ, CARROLL, DROGBA, TEVEZ (if they stay), ARSENAL CF (if they buy one)
I forgot about Van Persie. If he can stay fit he could well be top scorer and vital to Arsenal, he may even deliver them a trophy.
RvP is made of glass. You'll get a very good price from the bookies for him playing over 50% of their games
im not very fond of him. he's talented i'll give him that. whenever i see youngsters hit one sweetly with their left foot down the park, i think of RVP. but he's not exactly likable. trudges everywhere until he scores, criticising english arsenal players for clubbing. i wouldnt be surprised if he get more than 3 red cards next season.
He's a dick and injury proned, good player though. I think he's the only current Arsenal player who would have got into their "invincible" squad.
Heres my opinion. Champions. One of. Man United,Chelsea,Liverpool,Man City. 5th/6th.Arsenal,Spurs. Relegated.Swansea,Norwich,Wolves.
Champions: United Chelsea Arsenal City Liverpool Spurs Relegated: Blackburn Norwich Swansea Top scorer: Sneijder Other Liverpool signings: Dann, Downing, Bebe, Fowler (he's available you know )
Liverpool signing Bebe?,I don't think so,they were one of the clubs offered him on a free and even Roy Hodgson said no thanks. And he signed Konchesky and Poulsen and Fat Joe.
Champions - United 2nd- City 3rd - Chelsea 4th - Liverpool 5th - Spurs 6th - Arsenal Relegated; Norwich, Wigan, Wolves. Top Scorer - Rooney. Couldn't really care less who you sign.
It's a realy tough call to be honest. If Arsenal can ride the storm then they will be strong. All teams have their weaknesses atm. Could just be another Mr Consistant United, but here goes: 1. Man City (why not lol) 2. Chelsea 3. United 4. Liverpool 5. Arsenal 6. Spurs Relegation: Just Everton.
Too tough to call, although I highly doubt United will win it. For me it's whoever is the most consistent out of; Liverpool, Man City, Arsenal and Chelsea. I have a strong feeling United will slip up next season.
