Since it's that time of year, maybe Mr Allam get visited by 3 ghosts of City Past, Present and Future and amend his wicked ways.

Then stick £10 mil in the transfer kitty. I'm not asking much.

Well, I'm guessing he gave them the money, it's in Forster's name, not AA. So AA might be a background beneficiary, but he doesn't have anything to do with the club in terms of ownership.

It's owned by Heineken and widely on sale over here pop down to Tesco and get one; tell me one company who does not want increased sales? But, to be fair, heavy sponsorship is more likely from them. I think a few have already said that he is one-removed from the deal. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Like I said, it can be too simplistic. My understanding is that our club is still called Hull City AFC and that AA has previously said we will change to Hull City Tigers, with an eventual move to Hull Tigers. That is the last official (ish) statement I recall among all of a AA nonsense.

Unless you have met AA, then you are unlikely to meet someone who wants Hull Tigers.

In his last few interviews, he's made it very clear that he believes the current name is Hull City Tigers.

Tiger Beer is available all over the place here, it's currently on special offer at Tesco's. Thet are the official beer sponsor at Arsenal and used to the official beer at Barcelona, I think we're a bit small for them.

Herta (owned by Nestle I believe)

They don't want to increase sales and are in fact pulling the brand out of the UK market

You are the only one I have called a Muppet, reason been you repeat the same opinion to every poster that does not agree to your post. All you see is Allam walking and we should not upset him or he will run the club down, so let me put it simple for you the reason he will not.
He has put £66 million into the club, when he bought the club his net worth was £150 million. In simple terms that means he has put around a quarter of his net worth into the club, he is certainly not going to walk away from that.
The premier league payments are paid to Hull City Tigers, or whatever name he has decided to call it, not to Assam Allam so therefore he can not get his hands on the PL payments they belong to the company as mentioned above and he is ONLY a director of that company and is entitled to a salary as a director of that company. As the owner of said company he is also entitled to a dividend if one is paid out and to write off tax against any losses the company makes against his tax bill, so in fact the recent accounts that showed a loss actually probably mean he has paid less tax than you and me put together this last year.
Hull City's only assets are the players, yes he could sell them but being generous he would probably get £15-£20 Million for the lot of them. That would still see him with around a third of his net worth tied up in the club, again he is not going to walk away from that. If he could get the figure down to less than 10% of his net worth I could see a slim possibility of him walking away.
So as you can see it is not rocket science to realise that there is NO ****ING WAY he is going to walk away. Hope this helps you understand that most of the 37 pages of crap on here are just that crap

That's not actually true, he can repay his loans if he wishes, at least he could if there was any money left.

Aye, which reduces it all to the level of silliness it is now at (and has been for sometime), whatever he says and thinks, we know what the current name is. It's not important to him, except as a way of manipulating everyone to achieve his own goals. To be honest, Dutch, I am surprised so many pin their hopes and strategies on what he says, when hi is a proven liar. Speak the truth and shame the devil; or, on the other hand, embrace the devil and see where it takes us all.

    http://www.theheinekencompany.com/brands/regional-and-local-brands

This shows them as a global brand within the Heineken brand. Have you got a link or something, as it seems strange.

In 1931, Fraser & Neave formed a joint venture with Holland’s Heineken to venture into the brewing business. The brewery, Malayan Breweries Limited produced Tiger Beer, and later acquired Archipelago Brewery, which produced Anchor Beer.

In 1990, Malayan Breweries changed to its present name, Asia Pacific Breweries.

In 2004, APB acquired 90% of DB Breweries.

In 2010, APB acquired PT Multi Bintang Indonesia from Heineken International BV

On August 2012, Fraser & Neave has accepted an offer from Heineken to acquire its stake in APB for US$4.1 billion. Shareholders approved the deal during the extraordinary general meeting held on September 28, 2012.

What gets me is you spout on about Allam walking away and ruining the club because we are confronting him over the name in one breath and then deride people for still going to matches and ruining the club <doh>

If you read the post correct I said IF Allam's money was involved. The article in the HDM stated that Ferriby was bought by his son in law and his daughter.
