Is it not perhaps an explanation of why the morals of our society are so low? is it the lack of consequence to a crime that allows scum like this to comit their crime in the first place? Surely if the death penalty was bought back for a murder that was proved via d.n.a evidence, castration for sex offences again that have been proved without a shadow of doubt, a prison system that acts as a punishment not a sodding holiday camp, then perhaps a few of the people that commit these offences may just think twice? As a kid the local bobby would clip you round the ear today thats assault, your parents would hand out discipline that today is called abuse, the country has gone too soft allowing perverts gang's and anyone who wants to commit crime the free reign to do so. Bring back the gallows bring back hard labour and maybe just maybe we would see a reduction in violent crime in this country. (ok off soap box now)
No, I wouldn't execute him. I'd torture him, then execute him. Anybody against capital punishment for this sort of thing obviously doesn't have kids or needs their head testing.
Kill every **** you have the chance to Rape every **** you have the chance to Then come on a website, proclaim what you have done, even though in reality you did **** All
Many people (including religious weirdos such as yourself) say life is sacred. It sets a precedent, in the sense that the state now has laws to sanction the death sentence. It places a horrific weight of responsibility on the state bodies or the individual prosecutor. Convicted criminals have been later found innocent. Many state regimes, past and current have abused capital punishment. It is potentially barbaric. It contravenes international standards of humanity. - it would be naiive to bring back the death penalty on the evidence of this case alone, tha debate has to be broader than that. There, happy now?
Where to start? In self-defence you don't set out to kill someone. Is soldiers killing morally wrong? Yes. Assisted suicide? Yes That's not right to say that those things are against the law. As for your other points, plenty of people have done exactly those things including myself.
The death penalty is wrong. Two wrongs don't make a right and if you re-introduced Capital Punishment you would have innocent people being put to death for crimes they were wrongly charged with. Having someone executed would give them a quick escape, they wouldn't suffer. Lock them in jail instead and let them suffer.
