I've not heard any injury news so am hoping that bar Guly MP has a full squad to choose from. Dejan should be back so the defence picks itself. Choice between Davis and JWP in midfield and presumably between Dani and Rickie up front. Personally I'd go with JWP for his delivery and Dani for the pace up top. Chelsea are without Luiz and probably Eto'o. Although they've beaten Man City and Arsenal they've been a bit inconsistent as Mourinho has struggled with getting his team selection right. Watching them against Basle they looked very shaky at the back so I'm confident we can nick a goal. Question is can we keep Hazard, Oscar and co out at the other end! Let's hope Boruc plays a blinder to make up for last weeks rick. It should be a great game to watch so let's hope we can be the team to end Mourinho's unbeaten home record! COYR!
We're going to lose ... I;m working and the 2 other occasions I've worked during a Saints match (Norwich & Arsenal) we lost. Sorry guys!
I'm willing to be pleasantly surprised, but I am girding myself for a mini slide down the table followed, hopefully, by a jump up again in the New Year. I think this will be partly because of us dropping more points and partly because the teams below us can't go on helping us out. I'm going for a hopeful draw (we are definitely good enough to get points off Chelsea). I think Osvaldo is a terrific player who just hasn't kicked on yet, but Rickie is a proven striker for us so I would go for him. Not prepared to abandon Rickie because of one reportedly iffy game against the league leaders after he'd been on international duty.
Vomiting lurgy...let's hope no one else has caught it. Remember England abandoned St George's because of a vomiting bug, so there is something going around.
There's a lot of that going round at the mo. Got a poorly kid sat here with me looking rather sorry for herself after a night visiting the toilet. Not fun. Oh to have a common cold.......
Lets ave it Rickie to play and Clyne to actually put the ball in the box this week rather than go to the byline and then pass it back. 3-0 Saints
We have a great chance to break Mourinho's home record I can't wait for this game!!! Going to Stamford Bridge and thinking you can win, how times have changed
