Are you about 10 years old you rancid little twat? No shame whatsoever, 5-0 away win and still can't bite your tongue about Chelsea, plastic through and through. As for the reasonable headed ones amongst you, top performance and amazing result. If you can transfer that kind of play to the league you'll be laughing. Congrats.
Sadly we seem more of a cup team this year. Moyes should use the exact same line up against Spurs, even if it means having Vidic, Carrick, and RVP on the bench. Every player that played today deserves to start. Only switch is make is Rafael back at RB if he's healthy. He's much better going forward than Smalling is. The real dilemma going forward is if Kagawa keeps playing like this, do you push him out wide to accommodate RVP and dropping Rooney? Or do you drop RvP all together? Rooney is the superior footballer and he's been arguably the best player in the league this season, although that's a debate that would be fun to have we should leave it for another thread. He seems to have found himself under Moyes this season. RVP is a better finisher, but Rooney outclasses him in every other category and there doesn't seem to be a way to successfully accommodate all 3 of Kagawa, RVP, and Rooney in the same team. Not to mention Hernandez, who already gets less playing time than he deserves who would get even less time if we only play with one striker.
One of my concerns too. The lack of consistency is really atypical of the side under SAF in the last ten years or so. A grinding predictable consistency with United winning most macthes they are "expected" to win. Boring for most but United fans didn't complain. With Moyes United still need to find that rhythm. It is early days. Hope we keep up at Spurs. But with AVB under pressure and after they have been thrashed so humiliatingly by City they will be tough. A win there will go a long way towards settling DM
Basle are a decent side. They outplayed Chelsea in the EL at home by a margin but lacked the killer instinct, they put out the Spuds in that tourney too, put United out of the CL prior to that and now beat Chelsea home and away. If Basle could sign a few top drawer attackers to complement Streller they would be a very good side. They play good football. I think they would be very capable of beating United
This may sound heresy but people need to see facts affecting the team rather than individuals. Agreed that it would be difficult to accommodate RVP, Rooney and Kagawa. IMO the coach has to examine the team's performance when these players are playing in combination. Are we getting more results with RVP/Rooney or Rooney/Kagawa or RVP/Kagawa or with all three? there should be no room for sentimentality. If Rooney/Kagawa give better results then this is the way to go. BIG IF! I am not saying we should get rid of RVP by the way but DM should not close himself to options. It would be a shame if Kagawa were to leave because I think when he plays well (and Rooney plays well) United are good.!
Not sure we need to tbh. We didn't really have a way to accommodate Cole, Yorke, Sheri and Ole in the same team. Didn't seem to hurt us that much! Hopefully two of Rooney, Kagawa and RVP will strike up a strong partnership, and the other will put pressure on them for places, as well as giving us good options in the case of injuries. That's probably going to be key in turning our season around in the PL.
I wonder what that strong partnership might be? Most would proably go with RVP/Rooney but in the light of this good away performance may be Rooney/Kagawa is the one to look at away from OT. My feeling is that if Kagawa cannot play in his favoured psotion there is NO point playing him at all. he'll have an anonymous game...
It's often considered a "good problem" to have difficulties selecting from many possible players, but that assumes a good, strong manager who will make the correct decision. I think when fit RVP will be selected despite relatively poor form and Kagawa will continue to miss out on domestic games. Bit of a waste of talent since Moyes will put reputation first since if he has a poor league performance with a significantly rotated squad (something like last night) he will be slaughtered.
There's no truth, it's your opinion you thick ****er. Bite? Get over yourself, the fact you think it's true proves so.
We could fit all 3 in. Kagawa in midfield next to Jones? Rooney with nani left and valencia right? Rvp up top. Id prefer kagawa number 10 though. That makes it difficult.
