With the news today that Welbeck wont be coming back; Gyan apparently unsettled and wanting away to the smoke; Brown and O Shea hardly sounding ecstatic about a proposed move the SOL and Crouch more or less saying he isnt going anywhere this summer, all I can say is thank the lord for Darron Gibson. The only player we are chasing or linked with that actually wants to come it would seem?

Said elsewhere about Gibson. He's a strange one, sometimes looks world class other times looks as though it is his first sight of a football. IF he comes, hopefully regular first team football will bring out the better half of him!
MR - the only thing which concerns me about him is his age. At 23/24 you should be either a first team regular, or have moved on by now to get it elsewhere. He isnt a youngster. Ambition question marks for me.

Wes Brown playing 13 years for Man Utd is the biggest crime in football, worse than Shola getting 11 years at Newcastle. He should be jumping at the chance to join a top half team from last season.

The Mancs don't rate Gibson at all! In fact they are rather vitriolic about his mefiocrity. WHen the only good thing we have to say about a prospective signing is 'well at least he's keen,' then things must be bloody bad!
