Are you serious? The FAs rules state that they have to agree to the playing name change. What makes you think that it wouldn't hold up in court? Just repeating that it's his business wont convince anybody.
He'd have to apply for it to be Hull City Tigers, which hes unlikely to do as it flies in the face of his 'shorter name' claim. Hull City is the displayed name, with AFC as registered, this is the current position. Its this or convince the FA about Hull Tigers. Them's your north and south's. I've not met anyone that wants Hull Tigers.
If I wanted to take part in a kitchen competition and the rules of the competition stated that you would decide on the kitchen colours I would either have to accept your advice or withdraw from the competition. Don't you understand the concept of rules? Maybe you think we should start fielding 15 players in a match and see what happens?
I see your tactic is such that you accuse your adversary of behaving like you do rather than using logic. It doesn't impress anybody. So you don't challenge my point about WBA?
So why is there a campaign in place if the FA will simply block the name change? Why is everyone ****ting themselves if the FA won't allow it? WHy create a divide between the fans and the owner when all there is to do is wait.
You're not reading it again. Who says they'll simply block it? They need to approve it before it can be used, and that that's something they've never had to do before, so it would be a test case. As would any breach of rules for trying to change the playing name without approval. Edit.. Pi, Why did you edit your post half an hour after someone's replied, rather than actually answer? It shows me you ARE reading, but you're trying to ignore the bits that don't fit your argument.
Ok, your WBA point, obviously another one that fits in with your agenda. Basically you believe that the WBA accusations of wrong doing on our part was entirely truthful, and from that you form your opinion that it was all Assem Allams fault, in much the same way as I believe Steve Bruce when he stated that he was livid that the deal didn't go through as WBA pulled it at the last minute due to them missing out on Lukaku to Everton.
I've just seen the announcements that no application to change the name has been made and that the application would need to be made by 1 April to take effect from the following season. There doesn't seem to be any excitement at the proposed progress that some people think this signifies.
To ensure that the FA understands that the fans are against the proposed name change. Why has the company name changed? Why is there a proposed name of Hull City Tigers which will then be followed by Hull Tigers? Wouldn't it make more sense to seriously consider the financial impact of any name change before making a change instead of there being no consideration but a lot of confusion about names.
Well Hull City complained in the way Steve Bruce said but then WBA responded with a serious accusation which resulted in silence from Hull City. This leads me to believe that WBA were more likely to be right. This is reinforced by WBA nearly having as many strikers as they do have fans. They just didn't like how Hull City were reneging on the deal. When I made this point originally there was no need for any sarky comments about being part of an inner circle. I'm just a fan who is judging things by what is in the media.

There is more evidence to prove him wrong than proves him right. I mean come on every EXPERT in football marketing, brand management and football media has said that changing the the name will not increase the club income. All have said that success on the pitch and survival in the PL are the only route to improved income.
CTWD for most of this season has been a small committee of about 20. The only 2 on this board that I know of have been OLM and me. So please put up the posts where either of us has said that anybody who doesn't join the mob (what a strange word for fans who sing City Till I Die and hand out leaflets and badges) is a lesser person. Time to put your money where your mouth is.
