Hello liverpool fans so i was curious. if you could only choose on of the following which would you choose? Marin, Mata, Nzogbia, Hazard and Downing So i know Mata will be the populor choice, but i want to know what everyone thinks, explain why you'd want the player you chose. if i was a liverpool fan. I'd choose marin, hes skillful, fast, nice deliveries, and has great potential. His only downfall is the fact that hes little and not very powerful, but lets not forget people also said that would be the downfall of David Silva and hes been absolutly amazing, one of man citys top 3 players of last season ( along with yaya toure and tevez of course ). so whats your guys views?
I could only choose betwen Mata and Marin,so I went with Mata,because from what I've heard is,that he works as hard as Dirk Kuyt and has unbelievable skill.
I'd choose Mata, the rest are rather one dimensional, in my opinion. Also, as your name is Benfica Forever, if I were allowed to pick one left back in the world to sign for Liverpool, I'd pick Coentrao. Fantastic player, just what we need.
Yes he is fantastic, but hopefully he'll stay with us hehe . Although if he was to go to a premier league club id perfer it to be out of newcastle and liverpool, i have a soft spot for them lolz.
I went Downing. Always hear good things about him from England squads and someone whipping the ball in is what we need for big Andy.
I feel Mata would be the best one there, however Marin wouldn't be too far behind. Mata is reported to be available for around 20 million Euros, if that is the case, I think Liverpool should be in for him. He has flair, skill, he can take on defenders, and as that creative 'spark' about him, similair to Luis Suarez. Marin is second because although he does have alot to offer, Mata seems a more exciting prospect, although I'm sure if either one of them did join, it would add something extra to the team. Young is heading to Manchester United, but I do think he isn't consistent enough to play at the top level. I'm not saying we are the 'top level' but thats what we are hoping to get to in the next few years. Downing is a good player but I feel the wings would need flair and pace, something this lad lacks, although I still think Downing would still be a good signing. Oh, and the left-back who I would choose has to be Aly Cissokho. Very good LB and has been almost forgotten about since the Coentrao rumours have been floating about. Reported to be available for around £9million, even though I would be happy if he signed for double that amount.
I noticed almost all picked Mata over someone who is proven in this league. For me it would be Young, Mata, Zog.
I see why you choose mata, but as for aly cissokho, ive seen both coentrao and cissokho play quite a bit ( coentrao quite a bit more obv, look at name ) and id say coentrao is better, people seem to think cissokho is by far and away the best young lb cause on fifa he has the highest potential, life is diffrent to games and i think coentrao is strong defensiavlly ( dont think cause he attacks alot he cant defend, just watch him player ) and hes much better than cissokho going foward. but thats just my opinion. and i did say in my first post that mata would obviously be the populor choice, and i was quite correct to do so. but id prefer marin

Kenny/Comolli lost Mata's the only one on the list who's any decent. The reputation of all the others has gone somewhat downhill since.
Yeah, but he's crap, just ask Jose... Have to admit I missed that, was looking at the names in the poll. How can you subsititute Hazard for Young?
