It took Fergie 27 years to win two Champions Cups, Moyes is guiding Utd possibly to his first.

    Did Fergie retire to soon?

Amazing he only won 2. Poor really.

I doubt Moyes will every win one, but that's no slight.

They've had a really easy group - the real test is yet to come.

Bit early to start thinking about Moyes winning any CL trophies. So far he's done as expected and will qualify from one of the easiest groups in the draw and even that wasn't exactly the most comfortable of qualifications. Good job, Moysey <ok>

Lets see how he handles a top top team.

Can't see them progressing passed last 16 unless they get another easy drawer. The top teams will simply outplay them and deny them ball. Chelsea also have glad a relatively easy group and struggled through, can't see them going much further either.

Hmmm. I agree it was by no means the toughest but Bayer are certainly a decent side ( tonight isnt great evidence mind ) and Shaktar were very good last season and are not what you would call rubbish. Fair enough on Sociedad, clearly ****e.

Any I cant say I care about your opinion, we've just smashed the side sat 2nd in the Bundesliga 5-0 with 4 of our best players missing. Positives all round.

Win the thing? Nope, but we'll give it a shot. Far worse sides have won it...

If you do win it this season it'll put Fergie's CL frailties into sharp focus.<whistle>

Or it will further emphasise that quality only plays a minor role in who wins it?

Ah, so that's why you've only won it twice after 20 attempts.

Yep, the best team doesnt always win it. Sometimes really bad sides win it.

Some teams get lucky and their opponent slips.

Well I will name a few of them for you - Bayern Munich - terrible side.
    Inter- even worse.
Barcelona - call themselves a football team ... pah!
