The club are asking via their website, twitter etc for people to bring their flags and banners to the match on Sunday. Glad to hear that. Thought it was just a City till we die request. No one need feel they will be banished from the ground or have to have a wrestling match with the stewards now.
The club are asking people to wear colours, they've not mentioned flags or banners at all. Edit: Scrub that, I've just seen they've added flags and banners now. Edit 2: Just noticed they've set a 6'x4 size limit, so the CTWD flag and the We Are Hull City banner are not allowed.
The only reason that this has been done is simply because another demo had already been arranged. The game being live and if the stewards had reacted again it would have been seen. The club have tried to neutralise this by asking everyone to wear something or take something that is black and amber. And whilst we are at it, why hasn't Allam made a statement and said sorry about instructing the stewards to ever react last Saturday.
They also reserve the right to remove any which are too big on safety grounds or any which are deemed offensive. Twats.
Encouraging people to wear black and amber for a game seems a bit stupid at this time of year, its ****ing freezing now and everyone'll be wearing a coat.
Very cunning. It's going to look like a perfectly co-ordinated pro-regime parade now at the Pyongyang Stadium. All will pledge allegiance to the Dear Leader. Dissent will be stamped out.
They're trying to make the atmosphere better, to fill the stadium with black and amber and Hull City flags and banners, and yet you lot STILL whine like bitches about it and think its some super conspiracy to stop 1 flag from being seen? ****ing hell. You COULD fill the stadium with a ****e load of 6x4 CTWD banners if 1. Your support is as big as you seem to think and 2. If you had any sense and could see an amber opportunity in front of you. You could feasibly do this every week if you wanted. But no, I guess its easier to whine.
4 or more 6' x 4' flags joined together can still be big. Edit. Just seen Macca saying the same thing.
Hurray, Dutch, you might need to explain that in more detail to some of our tinfoil hat wearing "fans".
Maybe the club know like many have posted on here how many Reds supporting Hull people will be in attendance for Stevie G (god he's gorgeous) and are trying to do something about it.
CTWD promoted earlier this week the idea of bringing flags and banners, echoing an idea from the club a year ago. HCAFC are now saying you can do that as long as it's smaller than the ones they don't like. They're making their case for refusing entry to the CTWD flag at the weekend before they've even done it. At the weekend the censorship of views Allam didn't like was apparently not obvious. Is it obvious enough now? This isn't even about the name change any more, this is about our owner hating the idea of being proven wrong time and time again and trying to censor those opposing him to prevent it being shown to be the case again. It's gone way too far. His own ego is more important than anything else at the moment.
