'Course he does. He knows everything. Including what Steve Bruce really means (as opposed to what he says), and what you think and mean, and your relatives real views.

I have a relative down south who will not buy his son a City shirt with Cash Converters on it so even in this country we can't rake the money in.

What would be the point of that when Dr Allam is in the KC ? All the fans are in the KC , The cameras are in the KC etc.

How long was their view blocked for ? 10 seconds ? 30 seconds ? Is it really a big deal ?

As has been explained many times on here the banner caught up in the tug of war had nothing to do with the campaign group. Also it was not held in one place for any length of time. It was walked along the front so it could have only obstructed your view for a matter of seconds. I actually thought once down the East stand was enough and thought they should have stopped at that. The stewards inflamed the situation as has also been explained on here. Thousands of supporters were singing City till I die and Hull City, more than at any other game. That should have lifted the players and the manager, the crowd even chanted about Steve Bruce so I fail to see how this could put him or the team of their game. I can understand if people were booing the players or constantly on their backs but singing songs about our club. No.

Calling the club a silly name will cost more jobs than leaving the name as it is. Allam seems to think we'll get money from having a silly name rather than finding that sponsors etc will run a mile to avoid being associated with such nonsense.

Why is not wanting a name change "killing the club"? If Allam tries to "kill the club" it will be him that is "killing the club".

Have you got any evidence of that? Or did you just make that up?

He probably made it up to suit his point of view, just like you made this up to suit yours...............

    Self financing?

How many chairman talk about being self financing? and how many clubs are?

If a club tries to become self financing they suddenly drop out of the Premier League and make bigger losses without being worth anything to potential buyers.

I prefer to consider reality as opposed to dreams.

Why does that have to be the choice? Why not keep it as Hull City AFC?

Anybody who tried to get their loans repaid would be fools. They should be getting advice from an accountant and the accountant would say that taking whatever cash there is would result in the club being worthless whereas selling the club would be a lot more sensible.

Do you mean until the FA refuse the name change because of the lack of any consultation with the fans?

I didn't think Allam had any business advisors.

If it was true that a shorter name generated more cash then nearly every business would be shortening their name.

So a plan along the lines of having a better football team would never be considered? Doesn't this show that some people have lost all sense of reality?

not always.. my friend who doesn't even like football once volunteered to take a disabled guy in a wheelchair to Oxford Utd vs Everton (he at least remembered that part..), he said the guy's language was appalling, he swore and gesticulated for 90 minutes non stop. My friend and was very shocked since outside the ground he behaved impeccably.. reckons it was a way of letting off steam.

It has been proven (by me just now) that the first alphabetic entries in business directories also have an advantage over competitors.

I expect that eventually we'll be the A1 Tigers

Suspect that the publicity in the stadium has already peaked - unless people try and escalate it match by match which would have consequences for fans, and the team and would probably result in Allam digging his heels in further, if that's possible.

Well yes i think it it is a big deal for the person involved - for someone who is very poor health and for whom being at the match involves a lot of planning and a degree of pain and discomfort in the journey there and sitting for 90 minutes+ in the cold to support their team.
