The one decent striker they have and he's been totally frozen out at Spurs. Absolute mystery as to why he stuck around for so long to be honest. The Spuds have a long record of ruining strikers. Bent, Adebayor, Rebrov, Defoe and now Soldildo. Good luck to Defoe, he deserves better.
If i was a footy manager and told i had lost my job at Half Time i'd simply leave the ground immedietly.... after locking the team in the changing room of course
All of this unprofessional behaviour from a chairman, him pissing money up the wall, treating his managers like ****, making stupid appointments, inappropriate firings, selling his best players and replacing them with expensive flops would be alarming ..... but seeing as it's Levy and the Spuds, I can't thank him enough
crackers . the ONLY 2 players that gave me the jitters when we played the spuds. Bale an Defoe . i guess they are too close to see how handy a player he is. are they keeping Lennon as he is just a f@cking joke .
Some of the Spuds are hoping that 'Arry will come back to save them You couldn't make this **** up .... good old Spuds, the gift that keeps on giving
Arry Villas Boas has come out today to say that he has the backing of the spurs board, so that's reason enough for Gooners to celebrate But AVB does seem like he's losing his marbles, making contradictory statements. One the one hand he tries to claim that he is 'immune' from the criticism and in the next sentence says he'd like to sue all the people in the media that criticise him. Slowly losing the plot, if he ever had it in the first place .....
I totally agree. I find it very strange why they would part with a player that has been one of their best this season and the only one to look dangerous up front!
Surely such a goal difference can only be by design and maybe Levy is making a fortune out of match fixing each season?
Willem Defoe isn't good enough for a team with spurs' ambitions and never seems to play well when he starts games. He seems to really have something against Arsenal though
When he was at Chelsea, I kind felt sorry for the way the players treated him and for him getting the boot. I was worried when he joined Spuds as I thought he would do ok. Now I realise I should leave the thinking and worrying to the professionals -seems that the Chelsea boys were right all along. Long may he stay at Spuds or if he goes, then I would look forwards to a return for 'Arry..........
That was pathetic and they got what they deserved in Ramos. AVB might find himself on the end of a similar sacking if things don't turn around soon, the plastic elements already want him gone, you can read on their board things like "I am not watching Spurs play until it improves" What sort of plasticity is that Also, they were so proud of getting Soldado and Liverpool not getting Soldado. Just like they were chuffed with Dempsey
