I know what you mean, but unless they're arguing different views under their other names I don't really see how one name or six names matter that much. I have my opinions and they tend to be changed by facts or persuasive argument, not weight of numbers.
It makes a difference though because if four people are arguing the same point instead of one it changes the leverage that person has in any discussion and seems to give their opinion more credance. But if like you no one else is really bothered then fair enough. I'm just interested to know whether they are or not.
As I said earlier, I base my opinion on facts and persuasion rather than giving something credence because it looks popular, but to allay your fears, apart from a couple of obvious exceptions, I can't say I've noted anyone doing anything remotely like what you're suggesting.
As a matter of interest, or maybe no interest at all, the IP address and servers for Not 606 are based in Germany, another useless piece of info if you like.
Thanks for that Donald, very interesting, so it turns out that ChampionsLeagueLeeds, CumbrianTiger, Ian Beale, LEEDS and Marlon Kings Sticky Fingers are all posting from the same IP. At least they were until I got them banned from our board.
Are you sure they weren't just at Uni or something and had the same IP? Didn't Cumbrian Tiger have his head screwed on? I can't imagine him making all those accounts.

You've banned CumbrianTiger? He wasn't a WUM at all, gave some very reasonable views and nothing other than that. Even the numpties that start crying about everything TWF/Percival says have never had a problem with Cumbrian, to my knowledge anyway.
That's interesting, because on the first page of this thread midlands_tiger claimed to be at least a couple of those usernames. So, midlands and cumbrian are posting from the same IP address, midlands was pretending to be the other accounts for some reason more baffling than trying to work out why someone would actually make such poor WUMs, or OLM has got the wrong account in mind. The search maybe just shows up users who've posted in the Hull forum. If not, I'm surprised as well that nobody else has been on the whole not606 site.
I think you'll find Midlands claim to be a load of other users was just a joke. I don't know if those who are banned are done by username, or IP address. I have only requested that ChampionsLeagueLeeds was banned from the Hull City forum, the bans are board specific(unless otherwise requested), so I assume he can still post on other boards and that other usernames can probably still post. I sent a PM(to Marlon Kings Sticky Fingers) asking for an explanation on why all these usernames are on the same IP, but so far I've had no response.
Just stirring a little controversy. Why? I couldn't even answer that myself. Interesting that all those accounts share the same IP though..
I certainly have not posted from any other account. I would not jeopardise my reputation on this forum, this place gets me through work and keeps me in touch with the tigers. Seriously I donât understand this IP stuff but my company I work for has 157 offices worldwide?? Could it be another Atkins employee because I can assure you I have not pretended to be anyone else! For one i am not this sad and secondly i enjoy the banter on here too much to do so.
