    where was that ??
by your own rekoning if you win the ball first there's no foull (cue the Wes Brown hysteria that you've spouted)
The Stoke keeper wins the ball first, so no foul, it would of been different if he had not won the ball first, but he did
    and the ref was correct

I do seem to remember De jong from Citeh winning the ball first and clattering Ben Arfa, with Ben Arfa suffering a broken leg
what did the ref give --- no foul <grr>

I remember that well! The ref was standing over it and had to see it as being intentional but let it go.

Then he gives a pen against Willo at the other end when he'd won the ball cleanly without any contact and the Citeh player threw himself to the ground as if he'd been poleaxed.

    Absolute ****e..
He wiped him out with a kung fu kick to the chest for Christ's sake..The fact that it should have been a penalty and a sending off is not even debatable..

He wins the ball and then his momentum takes him in to Fletcher. Never a penalty.

Last time I read the rules, kung fu kicks to the chest with two feet of the ground and studs raised was not a legal tackle..

To hit somebody with two feet of the ground he'd need to carry a shovel around with him.

Personally thought the clearance by Begovic was an indirect free kick for a high foot. He got the ball so it can't really be a foul but if it was anywhere else on the field, an indirect free kick would be given for high foot as its considered dangerous.

Cattermole has been silly on occasions, but he has also had some shocking decisions against him when it comes to red cards.

I don't think he's agile enough to impersonate Jackie Chan.
