Thought I would put a thread up for any newcomers to introduce themselves :)

How long have you followed Leeds?

    Favourite ever game?

    Worst ever game?

    Enjoy the forum :)

It would be good to have another form of communication, so where possible post your twitter account!!!!

    Hi Guys and MTMB,

My first game watching the Mighty Whites was a 0-0 draw against Chelsea at Elland Road in '97 I think. Been a season ticket holder pretty much ever since.

    Favorite ever game?
I just love when Elland Road is full, I don't think there is a better buzz than that and seeing it at capacity makes any game special for me. I was only young during our Champions League adventures but I remember the 1-1 against Barcelona (Singing Time to go at the small contingent of catalunians in the back of the west stand) and the 3-0 Deportivo very well. I miss the nights of quality players under the floodlights, the smell of booze and smoke in the air and the rocking atmosphere.
I have two favorite games though and in contrast to what I just said the first was when Elland Road was half empty and it was a 3-3 against Wigan in one of the Cups at Elland Road, which we went on to lose 4-2 on Penalties. Wigan had some fantastic players in Leighton Baines, Pascal Chimbonda, Jimmy Bullard and the red-hot striking partnership of Ellington and Roberts among others who had blitzed the Championship not long before. We were constantly clawing our way back and Gary kelly's wonder goal in the 119th minute will stay with me forever.

My other is the 3-2 victory against Arsenal at Highbury when we were the last team to beat them before their 'invincible' run. Mark Viduka - despite being a couple of yards offside - curling it away right at the death ensuring we stayed up was something special.

Coincidentally, the end of the Arsenal game and Gary Kelly's goal can be found on Youtube with sky's old fanzone commentary and if you haven't watched/heard them it is definitely worth checking out.

    Worst ever game?
My worst game is in my opinion our lowest ever ebb. It was Simon Graysons first home game in charge and a 2-0 defeat to Carlisle. We've undoubtedly had worse results and worse points than that but watching the side that night was the most abject performance I've ever witnessed and it hit home how far we had fallen.

    Hey Guys!

My name is Marco, some may know me from twitter.
I am a huge fan and probably the only one from Austria ...

I am a fan since I first saw Milan vs United as a child on TV! Was the first Champions League match I saw and since then I follow the club.

The worst game ... well ... in the last years there were some! I would say the 0:5 loss against Blackburn in 2011 ... that was really bad!

Well that's it for the beginning!
    Greets from Austria!

Welcome Nr20. You'll need to give us your Twitter name. Can't find you with this name.

We used to have an Austrian CB about 1 years ago - Martin Hiden. He was brilliant. Austrian international.

Haha seems like my nickname's bit difficult. It's - Nr 32 on the back - cause I wear the number 32 in my club.

Well it's different. There are quite a few Gooners (I think because they were quite often in Austria in summer) and Reds, followed by Red Devils and Chelsea. After that there are all the others. But it's more about Prem than the lower leagues, to me the other leagues are more interesting.

    32 just a tip.

It's not the Red Devils, it's the scum, usually followed by cnuts or barstewards.
    Have you got that?

    Good morning lads!

I have supported Leeds since I was old enough to remember, my father got me hooked! Whatever year we had the thick yellow and blue striped thistle hotel away shirt, seems like an age ago now! Don't get to watch many games live any more, I moved to AZ about four years ago. Last time we were back I took my American wife to elland road and she loved it, it was a two all draw with Huddersfield, she was petrified in the peacock before the match lol!

Favorite games had to be the champions league exploits, was a joy to watch us play with no fear!

Worst game, I have a few, the play off loss to watford was a downer, I seem to remember the cup final loss to villa when I was a little kid pissed me off lol! I was at Uni in Cardiff, and all the games we lost at ninian park sucked. sat in the home end sitting on my hands was never pleasant!

I hVe been reading he forum for quite a while but only recently started posting! Thanks for the warm welcome
