Lots of people been calling for Alnwick, (not me but) this is his chance. Rather we sign hamer up on a contract before dropping him to the bench though if Alnwick does well, don't want to lose Hamer on a free because he doesn't want to sit on the bench.
So no keeper on the bench? Interested in Duffy. The sort of "worker" winger I like but I guess he wouldn't have wanted to move down south. No Pritchard on the bench so I assume unfit as no other central midfielders either.
I am a strong believer in not needing to put a keeper on the bench, 99% of the time you won't need him. Especially when we used to have Matt Taylor. I would always take one with me in the squad but wouldn't put him on the bench. And i assume Pritchard is injured too as he's someone who wants to get as much game time as possible if you ask me.
Now Turnbull makes a terrific save from Jackson. We've started really well but have nothing to show for it so far.
