You know that is not everyone, studs up, waist high, it was a red, Mirallas knew it too. I think what annoyed people with nani is that he did not go down immediately ( probably saved Carra by doing that) but played for another 5 seconds then suddenly "AGGGHHHHHHHH". Then you had SAF come out saying he was going to be out 6 weeks, yada yada....... and he was back in three days. That is obviously going to get plenty of kopites back up.
it was, that's why the sad ****s felt the need for a bit of photoshop add a good cry for effect as well.
From what I have heard it is more of the hardcore kind of red spec, kids on there. I would think 6D would have wanted Carra to kick him harder but again, not gonna dig it up either. I think we also knew that the one from Rodwell on Suarez ( I believe, not sure which year, think it was Kennys first full year) where he barely got him but came in a bit reckless was a red, when that probably wasn't.
Why? So he managed to come back after a few days & that's somehow got kopites backs up? Sorry don't get it #kopitelogic The wound was awful & the fact that he came back quickly doesn't alter the fact that it was a horror challenge.
****ing hell tobes don't forget the first part about SAF's comments. Don't leave out the MAIN PART that will get reds backs up, aka SAF, whiskey nose, slur alex, etc ( kopite words of course). Gerrez and I already said it wasn't a great tackle but the reactions ( your favorite) of Nani is what not only saved Carra from a red ( got right up to complain before falling down) but also gave the kopites the ammo to say it wasn't much in the tackle. Again, I am not defending it, just giving the reasons why many felt Nani was the boy crying wolf.
Question tobes, in your mind, what would you think after seeing Mirallas with that tackle then suddenly Suarez sprung up ran to the referee to show the wound and then theatrically fell over? It doesn't change the tackle, but it also doesn't really look good on the player either. You would probably think "That little **** is play acting/trying to get the player sent off/**** him" am I right? None of it changes that it was a bad tackle and red card offense, but it can change your mind on how you look at the situation and feel more aggrieved to the opposing player it happened to.
I can see why you'd think this was outrageous......................... please log in to view this image whilst this was someone 'crying wolf' as he got up before he realised the extent of the wound...... please log in to view this image
Why are you saying you tobes? Already said my piece on it. Btw, glad you picked the photoshopped version mate. please log in to view this image
Whilst watching it in real time you might have that reaction, but after the fact when you know that the injury was awful? Sorry, still don't get the faux outrage over the fact that he came back quicker than anticipated - this was somehow offensive? lol.
As if they wouldn't zoom in and blow it up right? Anyway, every side is going to have fans that will stand behind no matter what. I know I didn't defend it and thought the reaction of nani actually saved gerrard as the ref must have thought " couldn't be so bad that you ran over to me!". Still should have been a red though. **** me, I even defended the rodwell one on here as there wasn't much in that!
So you believe the other one is correct & that wound never opened up as in the second photo...because of what exactly? #doublestandards
So you believe the first one is not correct? Why would the would open up? Did Carra come back for seconds?
So did I, but you didn't get a close up of his leg wound. I love the way the Telegraph picture is automatically 'photoshopped by dem mancs'
Look at the two pics though!!! Maybe it is zoomed in but how did it get that much bigger from him laying there? Rooney's gash stayed the same size right? The one on his inner thigh?
